I love this place, it’s my go to brand place, the space was great the downstairs is very homey and rustic. It took a bit to get our food but it was great. The pasta I had was very good, if you can make mushrooms taste good you are winning at life! The server was fun and very respectful, coolest guy in there. The interior was a vibe and a half. And if you need a sign to try the Elderflower Lemonade, here ya go. You’re welcome. Happy Eating 😋

Friendly service, tasty food! The Chorizo Empenanda was super delicious! I definitely recommend! I had the Oyster Asada, it was flavorful, but I don't know if I would order it again! The black beans weren't as soft as I like! I had the mudslide pie and the blueberry coconut ice cream at $16, small portion, but just enough for me! It was super delicious! I also had the sparking non alcoholic white tea with ginger. It's served in a champagne glass, but I definitely recommend! For the cost of 2 glasses, you might as well get a bottle! It's really tasty! I 10 out of 10 recommend!

The customer service was outstanding, and the food was exactly what we were looking for. We were so pleased with the service I received from Jacob, the bartender (so sorry I dont recall his name at this time). They went above and beyond to help us find the perfect soyfree food and beverages. We were very impressed with the quality of the service we received.

+ The vegan food was good and prices were reasonable. + The coconut shrimp was cool! It resembled actual shrimp meat. - The smell of the stairs/lower floor could be improved. - The ordering app charges a fee, so we just ordered verbally through the waiter.

I love this place so much for their amazing customer service and absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend. I’ve been vegan for 16 years and I consider their food top notch. I always get the Mac n cheese, the ranch salad, Korean bbq wings and coconut shrimp. This place is truly a gem 💎 and a party for your tastebuds.

This counter-serve offers vegan dishes from organic ingredients prepared with global flavors.
Wish we could have had the dine in, sit down experience at the previous location, but regardless the food was superb. Was our only meal of the day as we were on the move during our stay in NY. Got to meet Chef B and know more about the food and extensive preparation process for perfection. Ordered the All-In-One meal that included a bit of everything, which was enough to fee three people and not just the two of us. Can't complain, service was excellent as well and food was made quickly for us.

The food is very very good!! The sandwich was only $9.50, it’s a great value for the quality of food you receive. I ordered the SV chicken nugget sandwich, and it had everything you would want in a sandwich: plenty of sauce, a perfectly fried protein, and fresh lettuce and tomato. The food was also made very quick. If you’re visiting the east village location, this is a counter-serve restaurant. I think this location includes reviews from their brick and mortar, so it can be confusing if you skim through the reviews. I highly recommend you visit this place, vegan or not. So glad they decided to open this up in east village. I will continue to come :)

Small food stop in the village. I highly recommend them. Very lovely girl working the counter and the chef also came to the counter and offered a sample because I wasn’t sure what to order. The vibes are like family. Good vegan eats, highly recommend the chicken nugget and/or crawfish.

I can't say enough great things about this little hole in the wall. The atmosphere here instantly draws you in. It's warm and inviting, and the energy in this place makes you feel as if you've entered a different dimension. The staff greets you with a warm smile and friendly demeanor, and the food is out of this world phenomenal. We tried the nuggets, fried craw, and crispy fries. Everything was seasoned unlike anything we've ever tasted before. This place knows what they're doing when it comes to business and food all around!

Food was good. 8/10. Macaroni a bit bland, rice was seasoned well, meatballs were okay. The takeout bag felt light and they didnt put any utensils for use. It's okay. Portions were small so I ended up getting vegan pizza afterwards from Screamers. Definitely had better but still go and support this black owned business!

Bohemian outfit offering inventive vegan dishes that are kosher & organic, plus live music.
Organic, Vegan, Kosher, raw / plant based ingredients, live music and entertainment some nights, indoor and outdoor seating, full bar, I mean this place just ticks all the boxes (minus animal proteins). I was dining with a vegetarian and figured why not try the oldest vegan restaurant in NYC! Chef Angel has such a fun and delicious repertoire of recipes, it was a delight to try so many new things. Mango flax seed chips topped with cucumber and strawberry was my favorite. I also tried the raw pizzeita and raw American Burger with a fantastic coconut bread. Definitely a place to experience. And it was nice to take a break from eating meat.

Everything from start to finish was delectable! I had the sampler as an appetizer the suaces were so heavenly! Next I got the lasagna. I don't even like zucchini, but this lasagna was out of this world! My bf gor the breakfast burrito, and it was bursting with flavors. Service was impeccable. I came at 1130 on a Sunday and service was quick! I definitely want to come back asap!

+ Great vegan food! I loved the spanish bruschetta and berry pancakes. They have a bunch of options and the prices are reasonable. - The place could be cleaned a little more. Will definitely return for another brunch :)

This place was a pleasant surprise! I’ll be honest I am a meatatarian and I was a bit nervous but was I wrong! Everything we ordered was delicious and the restaurant was very cozy and welcoming in atmosphere. Great playlist for music too! Enrique (I hope I got his name right) was super friendly and helped us with our orders. I have some food allergies but they were able to accommodate us. If you’ve never tried vegan food before and were looking to, this is a great place to start and also to keep coming back to! I know I will! :)

Fav restaurant of all time, great vegan food and delicious for non-vegans (myself). Great atmosphere. Kind wait staff. Great drinks too!

Inventive vegetarian dishes & classic cocktails presented in stylish, airy surrounds.
This restaurant is great, the food is delicious and unique, the atmosphere is very nice, however, for a Michelin star restaurant and for the price- I expected a little more. In terms of the dishes- the tomato and the zucchini were absolutely fabulous, the kimchi cheese roll we got as a gift from the kitchen was also delicious. The eggplant and the cord dishes were very tasty, but not good enough in my opinion. The dessert was very good. In terms of the amount of food we got- again for the price I expected a little more. I personally was full at the end of the meal but some people were not..considering this is a tasting menu and that the price is over 100 dollars, I did expect a little more. That being said, I still recommend this restaurant as they do offer some very unique vegetarian dishes that I loved very much.

Absolutely amazing dining experience, highly recommend coming here! If I could give Dirt Candy more than 5 stars, I would. The staff were incredible - very friendly, nice, and attentive. I appreciate that they explained what each dish was and our plates were cleared quickly after we finished each dish - everything went so smoothly. The food was so delicious and creative. I loved the bold flavours and how fresh everything tasted. The staff also brought out little surprise dishes, which was very fun. We came here to celebrate a special occasion and the staff brought us two complimentary drinks that would suit our tastes (based on the drinks we had ordered) and the drinks they brought out tasted incredible! I don't recall the drink they brought out for me to be on the menu, so I really appreciated that. Overall, dining here was an absolute treat and I can't wait to be back to try their other tasting menus!

This is place took me by surprise. Every penny spent here was worth it. Our summer menu was for 95$. Coming to dirt candy is truly an experience itself. I would highly recommend all veg folks to go here. Everything was brilliantly put together and every item was visually appealing than the last. They also accommodate vegetarian menu. The best part was the little gifts they give between each meal.

Beautiful venue and amazing service. The food is intricately made, combining ingredients in such a playful manner that it feels like a beautiful dance in your mouth in every bite. Highly recommend for date night, solo night, friends get together and more. Thank you to the entire team at Dirt Candy for such a fantastic experience.

My family and I went here to celebrate my birthday and it was easily the best experience any of us have ever had! From the time we arrived all of the servers and host wished me happy birthday whether or not they ended up coming to our table. When they brought the food they explained the dish which I appreciated a lot! Some of the dishes were spicy and we didn’t know that beforehand, and for one of the courses my mom had asked our server if it would be spicy and just from that alone for the next course, they offered her the dish with the spicy sauce on the side. We didn’t even have to ask them. This alone was enough for us to rate it five stars and in our mind it justified the price and we understood why they have such high ratings! They also have gift courses and a welcome bite that are not on the menu, I thought they made the dinner entertaining in between courses, their cocktails/mocktails/wine were amazing and they gave great recommendations! As for portion sizes we felt full after eating but not uncomfortable, and the courses themselves were I felt the perfect sizes for the flavor that they had, I think if they were larger I would’ve felt like it was too much. My favorite courses were the zucchini, tomatillo, and the chopped cheese!! Truly grateful I got to experience Dirt Candy and I will definitely be back!

I went here after breaking a 36 hour fast. The food looked incredible but I was a little disappointed in the flavor. The ketchup really tasted off and I've had it before so not sure if it was just a bad batch. The burger although it looked incredible felt a little dry and I didn't like the protein. +1 for all vegan though

The other day I was my first time eating vegan food. Absolutely amazing. The staff were really attentive. Burrito so so good. Going again!

It was my first time visiting Beatnic. I ordered the quinoa taco salad through Mealpal and it exceeded my expectations! 🌱 Healthy, crispy, and yummy. I'll definitely come back to try out their other meals. Glad I stumbled upon Beatnic because I needed more salad options around my office.

My first time ordering and was really looking forward to the banana in the Ubah bowl and that’s exactly what was missing :( . Overall a delicious dish!

Unfussy eatery offering a vegetarian take on classic Asian dishes including steamed buns & noodles.
The spam masubi was good. I liked the sweet and sour too was tasty, enough to share. For the amount you get and the quality of food is the price is fair. Clean and casual spot. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was quick and came hot. I took a non vegan friend and liked the food. I will be coming back to try other things on the menu. There’s plenty of things to try on the menu, one of the better Asian vegan spots to go to. Definitely recommend.

Gourmet foods, and make us feel home. We had drumstick soy chicken, Hor Fun, nasi lemak, curry puffs, spring rolls, stir fried noodles, and durian Cendol. Authentic Malaysian vegetarian foods. Owner is from West Malaysia. Very friendly and hygienic place.

The food was nicely made, but the quantity wasn’t that much. I would recommend the mango rice it’s sooo good but the other food was decent probably for my taste. The dumplings were dencent I have had better before.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a fully vegetarian restaurant in China Town with great reviews. Service was friendly and the highlights were the crispy mock chicken and the peach drink. However, the curry puffs were quite spicy.

The Hungry Foodie
Most food that are running around $15. It’s slightly cheaper like $3 that other restaurants. Only problem is that the portion of the dishes are 1/2 to 1/3 full then the other restaurants. Food is ok. Pretty quiet when visit. Why? $15 for noodle like enclosed.

Refined vegan dishes & global wines served in a snug, brick-walled eatery with a branch chandelier.
My wife (vegetarian who rarely eats select types of fish) and I (meat eater) visited Avant Garden last Thursday for dinner. It was an excellent experience. Service is great, the cocktails were delicious and the food was outstanding. We read the quote: "Excellent food that just happens to be vegan" and can confirm that this is the quintessential description for this restaurant. Everything tasted great, savory, balanced, and delicious. We especially loved the avocado and the cauliflower, but the risotto was delicious, and the dessert was to die for. Definitely recommended for everyone who loves great food (independent if you eat meat or not).

Minimal, yet delicious food options at this vegan fine dining restaurant. There didn’t seem to be a dress code, but it was upper-scale so be cognizant. The wine list is also very extensive. My favorite dishes were the tagliatelle and artichoke toast. Artichoke toast - crispy potato chips, pesto (or some sauce), and strong hint of black truffle. Delicious toast. Hen of the woods - kinda greasy, very tender mushrooms. Hard to describe the flavor, a mix of savory with slight sweetness Tagliatelle - tasty pasta with fresh vegetables. Thought the mushrooms were too raw here (texture/taste of raw mushroom ruined the other flavors), otherwise the bell pepper and cooked onion/garlic complimented the paste very well. It was creamy even without dairy. Roasted cauliflower - the cauliflower was nicely roasted (crispy tips, tender body). However the sauce wasn’t strong enough so it wasn’t very flavorful (tastes… like cauliflower). Risotto - incredibly creamy risotto (don’t know how they did this without dairy). The “lobster mushrooms” had a distinct taste, neither like lobster nor mushroom (more like a light chunk of seasoning). Overall the risotto was mostly sweet, slightly sour, and savory.

This place is nothing short of perfect. I came here twice for dinner during my week long trip to NYC, it was this good. Every dish was crafted to perfection, with a unique combination of flavors and textures, all working seamlessly together. I highly recommend the paella and hen of the woods, both spectacular! The food presentation was outstanding too. But my highest praise goes to the staff, extremely kind and generous. I can't wait to be back again!

One of the best vegan restaurants in NYC! The food here is on another level! Every plate is so unique and presented perfectly beautifully! Everything tasted delicious! Incredible combinations! We even had a chance to meet and talk to the chef himself! Juan it’s really talented and interesting person to talk to, he made us feel like home! 10/10 experience and food! We will definitely comeback next time we’re in NYC. That would be our permanent dinner place from now on!

One of the very best meals I’ve had. We ordered the avocado, artichoke toast, hen of the woods dish, and paella, with the beet cocktails. Everything was amazing - both delicious and creatively prepared. Next time we’re eager to try the carrot, pasta, lava cake, and more. The service was excellent and the decor and ambiance was beautiful. Great for groups, a date, or even a nice solo eve out, as there is very nice bar seating in addition to tables. Highly recommend!
