Great food on the docks in Tarpon Springs. I had a grouper Ruben while my wife had a grouper sandwich. Both were very good. Their homemade chips were very good too. The restaurant was a tiki bar. Great vibe. Our waiter was great. We snowbird a little further north from their. He told us about their frequent dining club for discounts. Overall a great experience and we will be back.

This casual restaurant on the waterfront docks has been there a long time. I am not a seafood fan but if that floats your boat then you should give it a try. Full service bar. There is limited paved parking; however, I parked at the marina parking which for some reason is not paved. Captain Jack's is a charming seafood restaurant nestled in the picturesque coastal town of Tarpon Springs, Florida. Known for its maritime-inspired ambiance and delectable seafood cuisine, Captain Jack's offers diners a delightful culinary journey. The restaurant features license plates, nautical decor, including fishing nets, maritime artifacts, and a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast or simply seeking a taste of Florida's coastal charm, Captain Jack's is a must-visit destination for those looking to experience the region's maritime heritage and savor the flavors of the sea.

Super cute place. Got there just as it was closing on Saturday at 9:30 (They close at 10, our first time going and didn't think it would close so soon.) Relaxed environment, good prices on drinks. We did glance the menu but it's almost all sea food related. Waitress was super nice. Loved feeling the coastal breeze while sipping on my drink. They even have a shark you can take pictures with, which was fun. If you like seafood and decent drinks with a chill atmosphere this is the spot!

Great place on the water. Staff is very attentive and quick to see you! They have some great AYCE options. Drinks are reasonable price! We came in for a few drinks and decided to stay and have dinner or had the all you can eat shrimp. Portions were a decent size and delivered fast!

Folksy chain serving American comfort food in a roadhouse-themed space decorated with Americana.
Went by this place when we found a boat ramp to put in at. We stop here every weekend after we get done skiing around. Excellent food, absolutely LOVE their salad! Highly recommend them.

Absolutely fabulous steakhouse and bar. Food is beautiful and delicious. Specials are a great price. Couldn’t ask for a better steakhouse. Seems like I liked it so much I dove into my food without taking pictures. Managed to get one shot of the potato skins at least lol. Best prime rib ever. Really should have taken a photo of that…

Good was perfectly cooked. Service was a little off. Never bring the main dish before the salad. Otherwise our server was very nice, great personality and professional. Overall was a good experience we will definately return.

Tonight my daughter, fiancé and I ate here at around 6:30 pm At the beginning our service started out pretty good our server Sally listed off all the specials with prices without asking which was impressive, my fiancé ordered the 1 pound burger asked for the temp to be medium after a few bites we quickly realized it was very under cooked mushy and raw and we are aware that things like that happen, no big deal after it was addressed with the manager the server never came back to the table after dropping the bill. We had to ask other employees for boxes then after giving our credit card and telling them we were in a rush to leave she still had no urgency and gave out bill to the bartenter to pass along to us which had the wrong credit card in it. And for further reference we were NOT mad and told her and the manager we were gonna tip $25 % of the original check because it wasn’t the servers fault until she proceeded to avoid us for the rest of our experience super disappointing these pictures don’t even do it justice but the middle was cold and mushy

Upbeat Greek spot specializing in grilled seafood & meat plates, plus other traditional, homey fare.
There are a lot of Greek restaurants in the immediate vicinity that largely offer the same menu. Mykonos distinguishes itself with a more intimate setting, off-street parking, and a few more creative menu items. We've been here several times in recent years and never left disappointed.

After years of visiting Tarpon Springs one thing is true, every restaurant thinks their food is the best. My take is that some are more authentic greek, some more Greek/American, some more popular due to ambiance and then personal tastes differ. Mykonos is to me one of the most authentic greek food places you will find. They have no interest in changing their food or presentation of food to attract more business. The recipes are traditional authentic fare without the fanfare or Opa! No flames in the dining area just good food. Also recipes are not adjusted like most places to attract the American palate. Other places do that in excellent fashion. I find my nose and palate gravitates more to this traditional type of food, while my other senses like my eyes find interest in the Americanized versions visually appealing. So, what are you in the mood for? In the end all are quite capable of serving excellent food and beverages. Therefore, when you want a authentic no frills meal that's all about what you would expect if you were island hopping in historic Mykonos, this is your place. Service was great and ambiance very nice.

Mykonos is probably the most authentic Greek restaurant in Tarpon Springs. We love to dine there when we are in the area. This visit I had the Lamb chops, oven roasted potatoes and avgolemono soup. The meal was cooked to perfection and was delicious. Great place to experience Greek cuisine.

What a treat to dine here. It felt like we were back in Greece eating at this local restaurant in Tarpon Springs. Great for families — they served pretty large portions.

This is the best Greek food in the area! Amazing little place in Tarpon Springs with great food!!! Get the gyro plate or the stuffed meatloaf!

Great food, The food came out so quick and was delicious the group I was with (12+ ppl) all agreed that the food was yummy and not greasy despite been fried and felt very fresh. Also this place is cash only. They have an atm next door for customers. Only gripe I had was with the customer service. I felt they could be more personable and friendly. Our group had some questions about the food ant they answered very shortly and with a slight attitude. We also asked for suggestions and those were ignored. The guy attending us was not too pleased with these. Afterwards a lady hostess did finish the transaction and she was much better to deal with.

This place is a gem! :)) I tried everything here and I loved them all. My favorite was pork kabob but I literally loved everything! :)) Your furry friends are also welcome here! Come try this place and you won’t be disappointed! (Note: Cash only. If you don’t bring cash, no worries! There’s an ATM in front of the restaurant.)

4/25/2023 - I love this town we found while here for a trip for a bachelorette party. A few of us got in a day early so we decided to explore this town. We wanted to get a snack because we were starving and found this cute place. The food was really good and had nice portions. We split 2 plate meals, chicken and pork kabob. The scenery is nice. It sits right next to the water. The only things that I didn't like was that you can only pay with cash and that the lady was upset we said to go but sat in the dining area. We weren't sure if we were going to eat everything and wanted it in to go boxes so we could leave after. Other than that really cute place with delicious foods.

I've had the Kabob plate twice now. It's very consistent. Salad is excellent. Fries are excellent. Kabobs are really good but always a bit overcooked. Still good though. I recommend the pork. This can feed two.

I drive a Trolley in Tarpon Springs and every time I do this route I get lunch at Limani! The Limani Salad with feta and Gyro meat. I get to the sponge docks about 40 mins before opening and pay them and order and they always have it ready for me. It’s fresh all the time. Food is delicious always. The owner and employees are so nice as well! Pricing is affordable too and the portions are big!! Customer for life!!

Casual bistro offering Greek favorites (gyros, souvlaki) plus lunch specials & weekend breakfast.
Delicious. I’ve been going to Tarpon Springs for 20+ years and always ate at the restaurants on the main strip. A friend suggested Costas and boy was it good. The octopus was cooked to perfection. Not too tough not too mushy. It was the perfect texture. It was seasoned simply w/ garlic, olive oil and oregano and it was perfect. I also had the grouper stuffed w/ feta and spinach with a side of green beans and a side of greens. It was all delicious. The only thing is I would have liked less feta and more spinach in the grouper but that’s ok. I’ll tell you, this is restaurant is better than the other restaurants on the main strip. Also the waitress was very professional and friendly. I’ll go back when I’m come back to Tampa.

Stopped by for an early dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Best grilled octopus we have ever tried - definitely getting that again. The chicken souvlaki was tasty and juicy and ample in portion. The lamb gyro was savory, saucy, and a delight to the senses. Thanks for a lovely dinner, folks.

This restaurant is the best restaurant I have ever gone to in Tarpon Springs. There a lot of great places but this one is superb! The portions are extremely big, the service was awesome and the food was beyond perfect! Off street parking and great prices for what you get! AMAZING!!

We went in a group of at least 42 people this is the Plato Academy Largo school went on a cruise what a marvelous wonderful restaurant this is! The staff the service was excellent to boot! I want to thank everybody for being so kind and so sweet to our eighth graders! I must apologize if they got a little loud! But I think all the other patrons were enjoying them cuz they were always smiling as I looked around! I want to thank the staff who waited on us I wish I would have remembered their names! Thank you again for a marvelous adventure that we went on!

Really enjoyed our lunch here. The saganaki (flaming cheese) was delicious as a shared appetizer. The small Greek salad was huge and quite filling as it has potato salad at the bottom, is sprinkled with beets, along with LOTS of anchovies and feta cheese. The grilled octopus with feta was absolutely perfect, so tender and smoky. Highly recommend.

Rustic spot for relaxed Italian dining with a stand-alone bar, early-bird specials & a patio.
AMAZING food!!! AMAZING service!!! We ordered just about half the menu and everything was amazing!!! I wish I could give this restaurant 10 stars!!! Our waitress Dee was a delight, and made managing all of our food a lot easier!! My favorite was the Charcuterie board and the escargot!!!

This place is amazing!! The service is incredible. Our waiter was so attentive and fun. The food was fantastic. The caramelle pasta was perfect and the cream sauce was so light. The pesto pasta had a great flavor and had a ton of vegetables. The ciabiatta bread and dipping sauces were s great start.

Getting familiar with Tarpon Springs I found the Bistro online and decided to give it a try. I was really looking forward to the Carmella pasta from the description and reviews. Maybe my preconceived perception is to blame but I thought the Bistro was going to be on the higher end of quality and taste and not a run of the mill restaurant. Upon sitting, getting a feel for the ambience, being handed paper napkins and a hodgepodge menu the screams confused about a niche (is it pizza, Italian, Mediterranean) I had a feeling it was a place that the menu descriptors sound amazing but the food does not match. Yet I held out hope. I ordered my happy hour $4 house wine and enjoyed the calm night out looking forward to a plate loaded with guilt and calories. First came the salad. A spring mix with a couple of cucumbers and a cup of garbonzo beans on top. Not a fan. Lacked all flavor Didn’t eat it. My server was kind enough to say “you didn’t like it” I replied not really but that’s ok. Soon the pasta came and immediately it was a Gordon Ramsey nightmare with sprinkled parsley all around the plate. This is an absolute no no and screams Applebees. Now here is where the biggest problem is. The flavor was a huge miss! The description is cheese filled purses of pasta with a Gorgonzola cream sauce and caramelized pears. That sounds delicious, right? Well it could be if it was done right. I had something similar at an Italian restaurant in Tampa that was amazing. What I received was yes pasta filled with some type of cheese, an overpowering sauce and chunks of brown pears strewn about that had zero flavor. My suggestion would be nix the parsley, make the filling a mixture of Gorgonzola , cream sauce and a flavorful candied pear compote giving it a tart and sweet combo, and more cream and butter to the sauce so it’s not too pungent tasting. Currently this is a miss with both presentation and flavor and the pear component missing the boat entirely. All of that for $23! Kind of high for pasta. I did not finish my dinner but I also didn’t say anything else about it which I wished I had. It was an overall expensive dinner for not eating it. My dinner companion ordered the pizza. The flavor was actually good. But the crust was like cardboard. I do wish the restaurant success but I think it will take a lot of improvement to receive more than 3 stars I will continue to look for a great spot in tarpon springs. Unfortunately the Bistro won’t be on my recommendation list.

I enjoy going to the bistro soooo much. The food is like no other. The pasta is amazing, and what I love most is that my son is allergic to cheese and this is the only place I know I can take him and he will enjoy pizza with his friends because they are made to your liking. Working here also has its perks as our managers are amazing, and I really recommend the Pomegranate Martin! 😉

I don't know how I've lived in Tarpon and not stopped here. The drinks, martinis and cocktails, were perfect (thanks Larz). We ordered the meatballs in fig sauce and the goat cheese fondue. Both were truly fantastic. And the service was outstanding.

4.7 Stars, Fantastic place.... No lines, great food, excellent service. The only thing we found that could be improved was the atmosphere, place was a bit dated and needs attention. Will definitely be back again. Instagram @foodieadventuresusa

This place truly is a hidden gem I wish I knew about way earlier! The oysters tasted so fresh and good, all the food is made from scratch and seasoned perfectly. The server wasn’t seen as often as some would prefer but I think it was still amazing! Dannie was our server and did an amazing job! I will definitely be back every chance I get !

Figured we try a new local Spot— Good food, and a great atmosphere, live band, and staff was friendly-However a few recommendations though …1. with an order of lobster tail a small cup of butter should always be served with it with, and 2. There was no ketchup for French fries and since my waiter was hardly seen during dinner I ate them without or they would have been cold by the time I got the ketchup. Overall though we enjoyed and would go back for sure- oyster Rockefeller 5 stars all the way !!!

Great atmosphere, staff, and food! We were able to get a table right away on a Friday night at 8pm. They had wonderful live music and an attentive staff. Great drink options and they have some coleslaw and potato house appetizers that come after you order. Our food was well cooked and seasoned. We will definitely be back!
