This is the best coffee shop & bakery i’ve ever been to!! The Pumpkin Spice Latte is better than Starbucks!! The pie they have and donuts are unbeatable! Best place to chill in in Vancouver if you’re down for something sweet or if you got a sweet tooth like me ! Definitely worth the try. I highly recommend! Only downside is that they have only 2-seats tables which doesn’t fit my family of 5

Wowi! A 24/7 cafe is a dream come true when visiting Vancouver. This place was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. It’s constantly busy, but goes by quick. They have a huge selection of items.. not too many veggie options for breakfast, but there were a few that I got to try. Their lattes are amazing! I tried the pumpkin spice and the oat latte and loved them. Went there twice in my one week stay and I’d definitely go again and again. Such great service, great menu and great opening hours! It’s a must try if you’re in Vancouver!

I've been to a few Breka Bakery cafes over the last few years but it was my first time visiting this branch. I picked up a slice of the red velvet cake and much to my surprise it had chunks of chocolate in it. I've had a lot of red velvet cake but not one with chocolate inside so this was a first for me. Have to say I quite like it.

Very tasty bakery, definitely recommend the apple fritter, not excessively sweet like those at Tim Hortons. The store is busy as well, expect a small lineup. Staffs were friendly.

Breka, breka! This is the second time I have heard of you, yet this is my first time going and getting that first time experience. The staff is very welcoming & attentive. There are so many options and it’s ooen 24/7! Yes that’s correct 24/7🚨🔑

Fantastic Bakery and Cafe ! Ordered chicken and apricot salad on rosemary bread but didn't find the flavours matched. There wasn't much seasoning in this chicken salad . I should have stuck with the Turkey provolone on walnut cranberry bread . Next time! Best of the best donuts I have ever tried . Had the coconut lemon filled and it was a 5☆ the coffee also was delicious . They have many flavours and the baked goods look amazing 💯 Service was friendly and quick and it was really busy . The seating at the small individual tables was uncomfortable to sit at for shorter people like myself 🙄 there is a small sitting area outside where you can watch the world go by😁 I'll definitely return soon to buy a box of donuts to take back home to Niagara Falls 💯👌😋

Delightful! Tourists go here instead of Starbucks, you won't regret it! Plenty of sweet and savory snacks and great coffee options. I had the London Fog donut.... so good!

I recently visited Breka Bakery cafe, and I must say it was an outstanding experience! The service provided was top-notch, making me feel welcomed and valued from the moment I walked in. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their offerings, which added to the overall enjoyment of my visit. Now, let's talk about the snacks and Tiramisu! The variety of snacks available was impressive, and each item looked and tasted incredibly fresh. From savory pastries to delectable sweet treats, there was something for every craving. And oh, the Tiramisu was simply divine! It had the perfect balance of coffee-soaked sponge layers and velvety mascarpone cream, making it an absolute delight for my taste buds. One thing that sets Breka Bakery apart is their late-night opening hours. It's fantastic to find a place that caters to night owls like me, staying open until midnight that we visited. Whether I needed a quick snack, a pick-me-up coffee, or a satisfying dessert, Breka Bakery was there to provide a cozy and inviting atmosphere, even during the late hours. I highly recommend Breka Bakery cafe to anyone seeking great service, delectable snacks, and a mouthwatering Tiramisu experience. I'll surely be returning to enjoy their treats and warm hospitality again soon!

Good selection of treats and sandwiches. I didn't have any sweets (though they all looked amazing), though I did have a turkey/provolone sandwich, cheddar/green onion scone, and cafe latte. The sandwich was very good, though the bread was quite greasy (tasted like garlic bread tbh). The scone was good, with lots of cheddar and green onion throughout. The latte was not bad, though I may not be giving it credit since I foolishly ordered a hot drink on a summer day... The building itself has a few steps to get in, so not wheelchair friendly. It was also quite warm (even before I started on my hot drink) so I don't think there's AC. The location was well lit, and there were regular tables/chairs as well as window seats with hip-high cushions to sit on.

Went for breakfast and ordered the chicken apricot sandwich which was toasted. Incredible sandwich, super tasty, specially when a chicken sandwich is the most boring stuff by definition. Apple fritter was good but not amazing. Their muffin and scones are also incredibles.

A bunch of friends recommended Breka for my next trip to Vancouver and honestly out of everything I ate this trip, the Tuna melt from Breka by far was my favourite. I thought about the Tuna melt every day when I was in Vancouver and for like a week after I left. I even brought a Tuna melt back home on the airplane and grilled it on a pan and it still tasted amazing. Honestly I'm not a big sandwich person so I was surprised by how much I liked it. Not to mention their desserts are great too! I had a strawberry short cake and a Pistachio donut. Not too sweet (: definitely miss Breka and want to come back ASAP.

I have been visiting this Breka location for the past couple of years and it’s been amazing! Great drinks, deserts and service! I’m a plant lover and it’s a treat to check out the plants at the window next to entrance. However, I noticed the beautiful Ficus Ginseng bonsai is not doing very well recently. I have a few of these at home and they are very close to my heart! I asked for the manager and explained to her what could potentially be the reason for this and what to do to help the plant recover. But, she did not pay much attention and didn’t seem to care! This plant deserves more attention and love and hopefully it will be looked after properly! Cheers!

I visited Vancouver for a week and stopped by this spot almost everyday. It made me fat. Tons of choices, nice staff, and good prices. Also open 24/7! I've tried the Strawberry Shortcake, Tiramisu, Blackberry Lime Mascarpone Cake, Passionfruit & Pistachio Ganache Tart, Chocolate Ganache Cake, New York Cheesecake, Chocolate Eclair, Chocolate Sprinkled Donut, Italian Pocket, and Sausage Roll. Strawberry Shortcake and Tiramisu were the favorites. Passionfruit & Pistachio Ganache Tart was the least favorite. The Italian Pocket was a pretty good quick fix in the AM when time was running low.

I felt like the high rating on this bakery is due to the value. Prices are relatively cheaper than other downtown bakeries. But the quality feels like something from Safeway or other grocery store. We got a slice of cheesecake and a chocolate sprinkle donut for about $8 so low risk to try. Sandwiches and other savour items are very reasonably priced in $6-$10 range Pretty decent sized space with some outdoor seating and a on street seating area as well. There’s a bit of a line that can extend out the door about 5+ groups. Inside line can be probably around 10. Line moves at good pace.

This is a busy place! I wanted to try a few things since this place has such great reviews. Upon walking in you get into a line, tell an employee behind the counter what you'd like and they pack it up for you. I did feel rushed because they were so busy and I didn't want to hold up the line. I purchased the caramel macchiato cake slice, the mango coconut mousse, and the spinach and yam frittata bites. I liked the frittata bites the best. I dont think there was anything special about the 2 cake slices. I liked the caramel better than the mango coconut. Probably would go back to try the loaves/savory items instead.

I ordered 8 slices of different flavours cakes to combine a specific birthday cake for my brother in law. The boss, Mr. Shine was super friendly and warmhearted when I picked up the cake. He offered me a small piece of matcha cake that tasted very soft and creamy, not that sweet as traditional ones👍 The little bakery store also provides some Korean food. I will come back to try more desserts and Korean food.

Best Cheesecake in 20 years For a long time I have been trying to find a real cheese cake made like a classic style. Henry makes them and he is very friendly and very professional. I will always come back to try everything here.

The owners of Gateau de Henry are just as sweet as their desserts! They seem happy with what they do, and it rubs off on their customers. I buy cakes here a lot, and my favorite is red velvet. It’s luscious and not overwhelming. Coffee here is also good, but I like hot chocolate better as it complements their desserts. Their sandwiches are delicious, and very filling. Pesto in cranberry sourdough is my favorite. They always come with a bit of cake on the side ;) Bibimbap is yummy! It’s always fresh and savory. Ask for gochujang if you like it spicy. This place is the best ❤️

This is a hidden GEM in Vancouver! The sweetest Korean couple, cooking delicious and generous savoury dishes, and baking DELIGHTFUL cakes and desserts. When a whole cake is ordered, it is personalized and decorated as you wait. They have an INCREDIBLE red velvet cake! Worth every penny.

Me and my hubby had bulgogi and bibimbap. My picky hubby said it was the best bulgogi ever. Bibimbap was healthy and tasted like home-made. We ordered a cake and coffee for dessert and it was the most delicious cake I've had in Canada. The owner is a very happy person and customer service is top notch. We also to-go for cakes for our daughter. This is a place I would strongly recommend.

Whenever we decide to come back to Vancouver, we are definitely coming back to this place. Who doesn’t love dessert? This place has so many wonderful desserts, sandwiches, coffees, smoothies and freshly baked bread. It does get pretty busy and crowded, but the line goes pretty fast. It sure is worth it though. Lots to choose from and you can get those sandwiches in the display heated and panini pressed. There aren’t that many seats available, so it’s best to take to go. And the only parking available is street parking. There are a lot of staff behind the counter and are very efficient and friendly. They get the line going much smoother. Recommended!

I could not believe it that this place is open 24/7. You could not tell that by how clean and nicely organized it was. The staff were all very helpful kind and professional. The collection of their deserts was breathtaking. They had several vegan options that Tasted great.

Amazing service. So quick-moving despite the long line, and wayyyyy too many good food options to choose from. Decided to go with the matcha cream puff which was the size of my entire hand. Also got the horchata latte which tasted a little too sweet for my liking. Love that this place is 24/7. 🍞

Wonderful selection of donuts, pastries, cakes, and lunch items. They have a bunch of locations to choose from. Helpful and friendly staff.

Wow, the carrot walnut muffin was delicious, paired with jasmine green tea and you have an unbelievable combination. I went Saturday morning at approximately 8 and the line was out the door. The staff worked their tails off, it went quick and I will have to go back to try some of the other pastries. They all looked so good it was fattening just looking.

Relaxed, elegant European cafe with items ranging from cakes & croissants to soups & sandwiches.
I stumbled on this cafe after a hair appointment and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a build-your-own sandwich, three petite cakes (chocolate cake, tiramisu and Oreo cheesecake) and an iced chai tea latter for $38 (including tax and tips). It is relatively pricier but for me, the quality justified the price point. Of note is the in house baked whole wheat sour dough bread, which I wanted to buy a loaf for home. It turns out each day they bake a different bread for sale so you have to buy it that day before they sell out! The service was friendly and attentive!

The sandwiches are absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. We had the California club and green goodness. Both easily 10/10. Don’t forget to grab a slice of cake too. We had the salted caramel….. incredible!

Best cakes in the city. We've tried almost all their cakes at this point. Our all-time fav is the earl grey cake (an absolute hit with all my visitors as well!) Their veggie sandwich is delicious too!

My partner ordered the new blueberry yuzu cake for my birthday. Oh em gee. SO GOOD! Not too sweet! The cake and colours are so gorgeous as well. It’s literally midnight and I’m still running to the fridge to steal a few bites of the leftover cake before bed. It’s that good.

My daughter and I were on our way to have lunch at someone's house so I dropped by Trafiq Cafe & Bakery to pick up some dessert that we could bring over. They have a deal where you can buy 6 small dessert cakes for $18 so we went for this and since they had 6 flavors to choose from, we chose one of each flavor! Pumpkin Spice Latte Tiramisu London Fog Chocolate Decadence Oreo Cream Cake Ultimate Lemon Each one was shaped like a cube which made them easy to cut and divide into 4 pieces. Perfect for sharing and tasting a variety of flavors. They were all sooooo good! Every single one of these was bursting with flavor and they were such yummy flavors! I need to find more places like this where I can buy lots of mini gourmet desserts for a good price! Service: Good Parking: Free parking on the side streets Location: 4216 Main St., Vancouver

I ordered a cake on Uber for my moms birthday, but it was nothing like the image on their website. Gave them a call and they kindly offered to exchanged for the design I was hoping for. Thank you Karen and the team for helping me out!

I usually come in the store in person. The staff has always been friendly to me. My favorite is their ham and cheese croissants. It tastes the best after it’s heated up. It’s my favorite croissant in town.

This is our first time ordering Uber takeout from you. For the prices you command, it doesn't feel like the quality is there. For a $17.45 crepe, I would hope that packaging would be better so that half of the crepe doesn't stick to the paper that it was housed in. It literally fell apart. The fruit cup it came with wasn't the freshest either (many grapes were uncomfortably soft). The sandwiches and pistachio chocolate croissant seemed to be fine but the crepe/fruit part made a mediocre impression for a $48 breakfast.

This location has been here many years servicing the local community. Plenty of savoury and sweet options with friendly owners and staff to help. Nice amount of seating for a pleasant bite and drink.

The matcha and the lavender cake are good. But that chocolate cake though… it’s so dry… felt they left it in the oven 15min it’s to long. It was so dry and not pleasant to eat…. Yuzu and lemon tart is ok.
