I hadn’t eaten at this restaurant in a couple of years, It was pre-pandemic. Back then it was packed. Always had a 45 minute wait. Never an empty table. This should have been my first clue. As I walked up to ask if there was anything available I could see no customers waiting and I was actually a bit excited. It didn’t take very long to see why they are empty! I mean empty, not one customer! The hostess explained that they no longer have any more snide seating. “Since the pandemic, we no longer offer any inside seating.” My first thought was the pandemic that is over? Ok, so that’s weird but we are here so let’s sit. She further explained that they have a new system of ordering and food delivery. Again, all since the pandemic that has been declared over. We sat down and our server approached us immediately. He explained that we have to scan a QR code for the menu and to place amd pay for our order ahead of time. I remember that is how McDonald’s works also. We ordered our food and it all came to 80.00. Now I’m not a high roller but this would be the most I’ve spent in my life for boxed food. The amount really wasn’t an issue as my memory of the great food we experienced in the past was still unforgettable. Let me explain what I mean about the boxed food. The food arrived in a basket all wrapped up like I had ordered from DoorDash. We opened the boxes and were immediately underwhelmed at what we were served. My wife had ordered a 24.00 omelette with Serrano peppers and lump crab. Our first impression as we opened the take out container was wow, it looked like it had been prepared with one egg. It was tiny, I mean paper thin with grey crab. There were no peppers inside it as described. I immediately sent it back. I don’t send back food to “get it right”. I always just have it taken off the bill. But here’s the deal. I already paid for it along with a tip despite not even knowing what kind of service we would receive. I ordered a BLT which on the menu sounded delicious. It arrived in a paper sack in two halves. I attempted to take it out of the bag, it immediately fell apart. My hands were also covered in mayonnaise now. I had to use the bag that it came in as a plate fro my 18.00 BLT. Immediately I noticed the bacon was beyond cooked. The sandwich had no flavor whatsoever. Even the mayonnaise was tasteless. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that my wife’s omelette came with a side of cheese grits; not what we wanted but we ordered on our phone and potatoes weren’t an option. I bring this up for a reason I’ll get back to. We also wanted to try one of their pancakes as they were amazing as I remembered. So my wife opened the next “take out” package and there was a 6 inch pancake without anything on it, I had to pay extra for syrup. Yup, extra for syrup! The pancake was actually pretty good. We noticed that we didn’t receive the side of bacon that we would have ordered with the omelette had we been afforded options. We contacted our server and asked for the bacon that we paid 6.00 for two slices. Again, the price isn’t the issue but it was all takeout. He arrived quickly with (imagine if you can) a what can only described as a paper pocket that McDonald’s serves small fries in. There was two overcooked pieces of bacon. By this point we decided to end our experience. I asked the waiter for an adjusted check with reimbursement (yup, reimbursement) for the 24.00 omelette that was pathetic. So he came back with a bill that had a credit for 20.00. Immediately I noticed that I wasn’t reimbursed the 24.00 that you had ALREADY PAID FOR! Now I asked for the manager as I had to discuss this with him or her. He came to the table after about 5 minutes. Bear in mind that there are no other customers there. He explained that we returned the omelette but only received partial credit. He snidely responded that we returned the omelette but not the side which was not even wanted nor was it charged on the receipt. Without delay I pointed to the white paper cup of slop and said “this stuff right here?” He took 15 minutes to correct the receipt.

Every bit of our food was absolutely outstanding!! Very delicious and signature style cooking. The staff is friendly, and speedy with the service. Other servers are always ready to happily assist if you don’t see your server within calling over distance. Overall we had a great experience, we went back the next day.

Best bacon egg and cheese biscuit ❤️. I always look to try new restaurants in any town I’m visiting. This one is actually close to the children’s museum so it was definitely a win. They do everything online.., order, pay. I paid roughly $50 with tip for 2 people. The bacon egg and cheese I ordered, was rather large. I can’t finish it. My daughter ordered blueberry pancake and sausage Patties. The Patties are massive compared to what we usually get back home. The seating area is really nice. Outdoor dining surrounded by greenery, birds and butterflies. I loved the aesthetic. Visit if you can 😊

Came to this place Saturday morning , there is only outside patio seating under umbrellas everythign is pretty much self service you place your order from the QR code on your phone. The food is way to expensive for what they give you. The food is bland and not that good. I order the pancakes with strawberries and bananas and it came out very mushy. The service is very nice and it almost makes up for the terrible food but I will not be coming back here. I left hungry after coming to this place.

SO GOOD! We’ve been visiting Fort Lauderdale for over 15 years and are disappointed we hadn’t tried O-B House sooner. We loved the service, atmosphere and food - that’s a triple threat. Shoutout to Marvin for being our first friendly encounter, followed by Frank’s solid recommendations - the strawberry pecan pancake was outstanding. Bonus? Farm to table. Also, don’t sleep on the chocolate chip cookies. We’ll be back!

Classic Italian recipes & cocktails served in a relaxed venue that has regular live music.
We decided on trying this restaurant after a Google search for the area and reading many reviews. Turned out to be an excellent choice!!! We sat outside where there's an enjoyable view on the waterfront street and across to the beach and ocean. The atmosphere works perfectly so you can enjoy the view plus watch the parade of nice looking people walking up and down the promenades. The restaurant servers are all pleasant and smily, well groomed, and quick to engage in conversation. The menu offers enough choices for those wishing variety, but it's also possible to tailor the dishes to your personal tastes. The portions are just the right size too, and I mean not gigantic like many another American establishment! Prices are modest, but don't come here and try to be cheap. There's also a couple of well stocked boutiques on both sides of the restaurant where a couple in love can share some fun time shopping for absolutely necessary non-necessities.... Parking could be a challenge, but no worries, there's a ground level garage right behind the restaurant that will have safe spaces for the fee of $20. If you've got the urge for a perfect evening with your significant other, this place is a 100% winner.

Café Del Mar is on a complete other level here in Fort Lauderdale, truly one of the best locations for a romantic dinner or a family lunch with their sea side views and sensational food and drinks. The service crew gives incredible recommendations and cater to your every wish. The atmosphere was electric and chic with live music Thursday nights you will definitely love. If you can, ask for Diana or Patrick as they are incredibly nice and helpful. We come to Fort Lauderdale once a year and it’s a must.

Nothing but great things to say. My oysters on the half shell and cevichi were top notch. Look at these 2 for 1 happy hour drinks. Visited in August so it wasn't busy. Sanya was an amazing server that made the experience that much better.

Great service. The staff is very friendly. The food is edible but it’s a bit overpriced. I was able to eat my meal, but I won’t be back.

We had a great experience at this place! We arrived for breakfast on a Saturday, and thankfully, were seated right away. Our friendly server approached the table to take our drink orders, and let us peruse the menu. When she came back with our coffees, I ordered the Burrito Wrap (scrambled eggs, onions, peppers, tomato, choice of meat, and choice of cheese) with bacon and American cheese as my choices. For my side, I ordered grits. Hubby ordered the 2-2-2 which is two pancakes, two eggs, and choice of meat, and added a side of grits (not included in the meal). The food came out pretty quickly, and was delicious! Overall, this is a great place. The staff are super friendly, the dining room is clean, the menu is ample without being overwhelming, and the food is good! I will definitely visit again!

I greatly appreciate and respect the mom-and-pop (or pop-and-son) family business restaurant because they put in more personal touch and control over the quality and pride of their establishments, contrary to corporate-owned chains where only logic and profit dictate their operations. Country Ham And Eggs has been warmly serving the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea for about 26 years until they had to abandon that locale and moved to Fort Lauderdale at 2761 E. Oakland Park BL ABOUT 7 years ago giving us a continued quality breakfast and lunch served by a cheerful crew in a clean and bright atmosphere favoring old rock music. Since they’ve opened in Ft Lauderdale, I’ve enjoyed countless delicious and generous portion breakfasts and lunches. I’ve never been disappointed.

The food is very good. It's fresh and prepared just the way you would want it. Lovely service. The food was served in 5 minutes. Hot and tasty. The only drawback are the prices. I paid 17.00 for a ham and pepper jack omelet. With coffee was over 20.00. For one person. Pretty steep, but I'd say it's worth it!

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff. Breakfast was good until you got to the half hot / half cold microwaved homestyle potatoes. Definitely let a great dish down. Would still recommend if your thinking of visiting but would watch the potatoes.

Seafood eatery, rum-centric bar & artisanal market set in a rustic yet chic hotel dining room.
We made a reservation here for a date night while visiting Fort Lauderdale. The restaurant is located in the Ritz Carlton. We were seated promptly outside at our request. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. We had drinks, appetizers, a meal, end dessert. Everything was phenomenal! We truly and enjoyed our time and would return. Parking Note: We initially had trouble parking but found a street two streets behind the hotel that had street parking for $4 an hour which we thought was pretty reasonable. It was about a 3 minute walk.

Highlights: Personalized and stellar service. We were taken to our table for lunch right away with a great oceanfront view! Service: Our server immediately came over to take care of us and offered a friendly and inviting experience. We were celebrating my birthday and he made sure our dessert complimented our celebration with a chocolate birthday note and a candle. Wonderful surprise! And he didn’t blink twice when we asked if he could take photos of our moment. Food: One of the best oysters in town for sure! Their citrus champagne mignonette was absolutely delicious! I asked for more to pour over my egg white omelet and it made the meal incredible! We also ordered the Bootleg Burger was perfectly cooked and served with crispy fries. We topped it off with their Mango Crostini with vanilla ice cream which is a must!! Overall we highly recommend this experience for breakfast / brunch or lunch as you’ll definitely enjoy it! A huge plus is they validate your parking for a discounted rate if you eat at their restaurant.

If you're going to a Ritz Carlton restaurant for a meal, there is a certain experience level expected. Let's stipulate that, that experience was met here..."the service was top notch" - check; "the food was amazing...I never had a better..." - check; " The atmosphere was sophisticated yet relaxing" - check. All of this is what you expect/want and you get it here. So let's get to it...the meals are so good here you can order exactly what you're craving and still covet the meals of your companions when they arrive they're that good. You can eat inside where you can have a whiskey tasting in the dedicated whiskey bar or you can eat outside, near the beach...where you can "see and be seen" and let's be honest isn't that why you're there. If you're looking for a great place to eat and turn heads before, during and after your meal, this is the place. It's giving excellent all around experience. 10, 10,10 across the board.

I ordered the catch of the day, blackened, and it was amazing. I sat outside facing the ocean and enjoyed the wonderful view. It is a bit on the pricey side though but if you don't mind that it is a great restaurant to pay a visit. It is part of Ritz Carlton hotel. The drink was called Pineapple Martini and tasted great with tahin rim. I really enjoyed my time.

Signature pancakes & other American breakfast classics all day in a casual setting.
Went here for a late breakfast. First time ever at the Original Pancake House. The Place was not to crowded and we were seated right away. Waiter was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. Ordered the coffee☕️. We only waited about 20 minutes for all of us to get our food. For 6 people the bill was $110.00 with a tip.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! My family and I had breakfast here on our visit and it was delicious. I ordered the Strawberry French Toast. My son ordered the Apple Pancake (takes 30 minutes to make) but it was SO worth the wait. Eggs were cooked exactly like I like them. We were totally satisfied. The service was good.

Very delicious! These are scattered around the u.s. and I've been to a couple now and they are all different but so good! This place was pretty crowded but they sat us fast. The staff were very friendly. They have tons of options for b-fast and lunch... we ordered strawberry pancakes, rainbow pancakes, pigs in a blanket, eggs with Turkey sausage, pecan pancakes, and an omelette with extra cheese... oh and the breakwhich that came can be shared depending on hungry you are! The orange juice is literally squeezed before your eyes. I would recommend!

I recently had breakfast at Tinta, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making it a pleasant morning. The food they served was fresh and delicious, with a great mix of flavors that brightened up my morning. The place had a lively and welcoming vibe, adding to the overall enjoyment of my breakfast. Plus, Tinta is conveniently close to the beach, so I got to enjoy some beautiful views. I highly recommend Tinta for a fantastic morning meal by the beach!

I would highly recommend this place to everyone for their brunch. One of the best breakfast I have had in a very long time. We got the rancho chores, and grab omelette. You can tell the ingredients where high quality. The best brunch spot in Fort Lauderdale, hands down!

Carlos was amazing and recommended the smoked salmon eggs Benedict which was to die for. The bloody Mary’s were good, I just personally like mine with more spice but the tajin is a great touch! The place was packed and I see why now. Beach front views and amazing food. Thank your Carlos for your hospitality and service.

One of the best places I have ever had breakfast in my life for real. Nicolas our server was awesome as well as the ladies that helped him. We even had a manager that helped us with making selections. Another, gave us comp drink cards for another trip because we had such a wonderful time. This place is amazing. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast. You will not be disappointed and if you are you have no taste buds.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, and fortunately, it features the restaurant "Tinta y Lona." It offered some of the best food I've had in a long time, with an incredible atmosphere and fabulous service. Today, we were served by Carlos, a Venezuelan gentleman who was excellent, kind, and very helpful. Thank you very much.

Hotel kitchen offering upscale American fare & Sunday brunch to go with water views & sleek decor.
Came here three times during my stay, and it was great every time. I especially liked the Cuban burrito that had sweet plantains in it; it was a unique and delicious variation on the common breakfast burrito that I often get. They also had a good looking breakfast buffet, but I didn't get it, because I enjoyed their main entrees. Would go again!

This is one of the best place to have breakfast. They have breakfast buffet for $36/person and they also have a-la cart menu other than buffet. We tried both the options and we weren’t disappointed. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. Enjoy the morning breakfast with ocean view. Definitely recommend it!

Excellent breakfast buffet. They had so many great choices and toppings. I don't eat pork so I was glad to see they had chicken sausage as an alternative breakfast meat.
