Relaxed Italian trattoria with an open kitchen & a menu of flatbreads, pasta, pizza & more.
Went here on date night with my bf, our service was perfect! The waitress was welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu and didn’t keep us waiting for anything. We go at opening hours so you get seated immediately. The pizza was delicious and the chicken parmigiana was great too. They have the best tiramisu I’ve tried thus far! Will definitely be back.

1st time visiting and it was very good! I celebrated my 57th birthday. We had a reservation which really wasn’t needed. We were seated immediately. Our server was Brie and she was awesome. We started with pepperoni pizza for the appetizer. It was fresh and delicious. The house salad was crisp with a very tasty dressing. My husband had the Caesar salad with a chicken breast. I had the lobster and shrimp pasta with mushrooms and asparagus in a spicy sauce. All the food was perfect. I also enjoyed a glass of sparkling Moscato wine, it was delicious. Since it was my birthday, $15 was taken off the bill. I had y to I show my ID which wasn’t a problem. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent service, great atmosphere and tasty authentic Italian food! Overall a wonderful first time experience. My wife had the Marsala and I had the Chicken Parm. Highly recommend both, and the house salad is also great (reminds me of Maggiano's house salad).

The reception, the service, the food, the atmosphere- worth 10 stars. I went with colleagues from Mexico and one of our customers. They were busy and at the initial point it seemed no seating would be available, but the two hostesses were just super and asked us to wait, so they could figure out a plan for us. Within 15 minutes we were sat. Just a super wow!!! Our server brought it to another level of quality - Eliza (just awesome). And finally what can, I say about the taste, smell, and the quality of the food, just amazing, I live about an hour away, and I will be making a trip back as often as I can…Bravo!!!

Retro, warehouse-style venue with a patio doling out cocktails & traditional Mediterranean cuisine.
Recently dined at Souk Mediterranean Kitchen and Bar in Toledo, and I was thoroughly impressed. The flavors transported me directly to the Mediterranean coast. Each dish was a testament to authentic Mediterranean cuisine, and the ambiance was both cozy and elegant. Without a doubt, one of the best culinary experiences I've had in Toledo. A must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine taste of the Mediterranean!

We came to the restaurant without making any prior arrangements, but we were happy because they let us in anyway. The taste of the food they serve is extraordinary, unique, and full of nuances of traditional spices. I'm sure most of the food is very healthy. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, the service is very friendly, the food presentation is beautiful, the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely come there again to try other menu items. This restaurant is perfect for hanging out with friends, weekend lunch with family, or a date with your partner.

Beautiful patio area and delicious food. Ordered classic hummus for appetizer and I had scottish salmon while my husband ordered beef medallions and both were very yummy. Cassandra was our server and she was friendly and checked with us often even though we were the only ones seated outside for the first half of our meal. We both tried the birdcage cocktail and loved it. It was spicy, which was actually really good! I also tried a dragon tales drink which was also really good. Very extensive drink menu! Cassandra informed us Souk was voted best of downtown dining and I see why. We'll definitely return!

This is my 2nd time here and let me tell you Alli R. is amazing she is the best server that I’ve come encounter with in almost a year. She recommended these garlic greens and they were definitely the star of the day. I’ve only come here cause other people asked me too but now i want to come so we can see her. Now if they work on the cool air blowing in while it’s 60 degrees out this was be perfect.

I think the food is delicious but the service sucks. I stood at hostess station for almost 10 minutes with waiters and waitresses walking by me and ignoring me. I had ordered over $50 worth of food for myself and nobody had the common courtesy to just say, can I help you, Is it anything you need? If the service doesn't improve even though the full may be great I doubt if I return. I don't like being ignored when I'm spending my Money. Acknowledge your customers when they're waiting.

No-frills taqueria serving simple, traditional dishes in a Mexican grocery store.
Had a great experience at San Marcos. The food was outstanding, large portions. The wait staff was polite and friendly, and the atmosphere is unique. The prices are very reasonable. No complaints. I will go back again. Hope the weather is good enough to sit on the outdoor patio next time.

This place is pretty cool. I like that you have to walk through a storefront to get to the restaurant in the back. At some point I would like to come back and do some actual shopping... The food here was very good I got chicken fajitas with shrimp mixed in since I like to give shrimp a try at every Mexican restaurant. The chicken was very good the vegetables in it were excellent it was seasoned very well nothing was overcooked except for the shrimp. Which I sometimes understand no one wants to get some kind of foodborne illness. So I probably wouldn't recommend the shrimp. Everything else is very good we also got a pitcher of margaritas and they were delicious as well. If you have a large party they'll be able to handle it here and they seem to have a nice outdoor space as well. We will definitely be back.

My son wanted to go there after his graduation ceremony. He loves the pineapple with all the meats and shrimp. The service was great and everyone in our party were happy.

Great food albeit on the salty side like I prefer but many people might wish for less. Service was top notch. Would definitely recommend!

This is an authhentic mexican food resturents. I found the restaurant was very busy which proves it is very popular. I had to wait in the line for long time, but i think it was worth it. I found the food is very dlelcious and testy. I would higly recommend this place. I ordered molcajete mixto, which was huge and it was more than ennough. I was not able to finish and ended up boxed it for take out. I think it was a so big meal for a person, easily two person could be feed. I would highly recommend this place. There are a lot of free parking, so parking would not be a problem.

Polished, upscale restaurant offering elevated American fare & river views through large windows.
I made reservations 2 weeks in advance for a birthday brunch 9/24/23. I did so through open table due to the phones ringing busy 3 days in a row. It also states you have to call for a party larger than 6. I had to message them requesting a party of 8. I also informed them that we would prefer not to sit at a high top due to guests medical disabilities/ activities limitation. Upon arriving I was informed they can not accommodate that, any party above 6 has to be seated at a high top or sit at separate tables. Our reservation was for 12:00pm. Upon arrival I was informed that all guest must be present to be seated. We were waiting on 2 to arrive. We got seated around 12:23, the table was not yet set up for dining. The other tables had plates, glasses, napkins, and silverware prepped. A gentleman brought us water. The water smelled like fish. Nobody drank their water due to this. We placed an order for alcohol beverages. About 10 minutes had passed and then we placed our brunch order. Our drinks had yet to arrive at this point. Our server did state their was only one bartender, but drinks shouldn’t take too much longer. At this point there were only 3 other tables dining. My drink and 2 others come out. The serves states the bartender was still making the rest of the order. About 2-3 minutes later our food comes out and the chicken and waffles and cinnamon roll pancakes were amazing! We requested silverware, napkins, extra plates because they had yet to be brought over. The server handed the silverware to us and asked us to pass them down because the table was already supposed to be set up prior to being seated. The rest of the group requested to cancel their drink order since they never arrived. The server walks over to the bar and says they are ready now. It was about 1:20 by time all drinks arrived. Nearly an hour after being placed. Our server stated she already informed her manager of the issue. She reported she also asked for help and it was not being provided. She also informed us she is 19 years old and has been working there 2 weeks. Halfway through our meal the manager comes over briefly, doesn’t introduce himself, and doesn’t acknowledge the issue the server had already informed him about. He walked away. I asked the server if she in fact told him there was an issue with the service, she said yes and that because we didn’t request to speak to him directly and make a formal complaint that he assumed everything was okay. So the entire table requested to speak to him, again. He came to the table and said just that!! We then said the drinks came extremely late. He also said “when drinks take that long, they are being made with love”. We then stated we didn’t even have an opportunity to order another drink, and he with a straight face said “why not”. We said, because it would take another 45 minutes. He then followed up with “it gives us more time to hangout with you ladies” This manager, Maher, was extremely unprofessional. He never apologized or truly acknowledged the issue. He said “let me see what we can do to make this better, but with alcohol, we don’t like to discount or comp that”. We were NOT asking for a discount, we simply wanted him to acknowledge the terrible service. He never did! In fact, we could see him and the bartender chatting and pointing at our table. By this time, we are the only people seated except for 1 other table of 2. Our server then informed us that the bartender is saying she never took that long and she doesn’t know what we are talking about. The young lady was so upset at this point. She said she was being blamed for the whole thing. Then it took the server and manager over 45 minutes to get the bills. We sat their just waiting. The server checked in with us to inform us the system kept crashing. The manager took of $10 for each person who ordered a drink. This was nice and appreciated. Again, this was not our goal or focus. We simply wanted the manager to acknowledge the terrible service. At 2:20 we finally left. The food was great, however, the experience was awful.

We had a party of 13 attending Chef's Table Series: A Celebration of Love. Menu posted below, along with a few dinner pics. Dinner reservations ran a little late, but that didn't put a damper on the evening. Our wait staff were attentive, accommodating, pleasant & provided a great upscale dining experience. The ambiance was romantic & fun. The food was amazing! A 7 course dinner with a variety of foods to address anyone's dining palate. What a wonderfully fun & delicious dining experience! Each course perfectly paired with an adult drink. Chef Mike came out to tell us about each course. He was polite, addressed questions, but he was definitely kept busy that evening. My only complaint for the evening was the walleye dish was not hot. Mine & a couple of other's fish were more cold than warm. I was disappointed because it was tasty until I got to the cold part. To their defense they offered to remake each of ours. We declined because everyone else was already finishing up their course. Just didn't want to be the cause of further delay. Otherwise I cannot wait to have dinner there again. Definitely worth a second visit.

Duck fat fries and caramelized pork belly - worth every cent spent. Loved both of the dishes and as a snack big portion , so having both I was already full. Service was pleasant and helpful. Had ok variety of beers - had two local draft IPAs, enjoyed both. All in all - really worth the visit.

Flavor combinations are safe but fantastic all the same. Fried oysters with aioli were very good, even though my wife doesn't like oysters to begin with. The wild boar Bolognese was decent and the preparation was pretty standard, though the portion was small for $25. The sauce and seasonings crusted onto the filet mignon were probably the best I ever tried paired with a steak dish. Ambience is nice, fairly quiet as it is a pretty small restaurant. The wait staff was very friendly, par for the course at a restaurant of this caliber. It did take a while after ordering to actually get the food, which was really the only downside besides the somewhat small portions. It's still worth visiting though, if nothing else to enjoy a nice meal!

Currently sitting in the restaurant because we have been here for over 2 hours and we still haven’t got our credit cards back. Worst dining experience! When we sat down, every single person in our party agreed that the glass of water had a “fish” scent to it. All but one person of 8 ordered a drink from the bar. 30 minutes later, our server brought us 3 drinks. She told us that the bar tender was running behind while making the drinks. 25 minutes later the other 3 drinks came, after our meals were already out. The manager— ha! He came to talk to us and never once apologized. After we asked to talk to him, he came back and said that since we didn’t complain he was just going to let it go. He told us that the drinks took so long because they were making them with love.. he also said that we were waiting so long so that he could hang out with us ladies.. He finally took $10 off the bills, but it took about 45 minutes from the time we finished eating until we received the checks. The food was good and the server was apologetic, but that’s about it.

Traditional tavern in an 1867 building with an extensive menu of creative burgers.
Wasn't impressed at all. Over priced. Hamburger was over cooked and bland. Service was good. Ordered the Olde durty burger deluxe. Coleslaw was flavorless, couldn't even taste the pull pork, it was just mushy. My wife enjoyed the Reuben and French onion soup. But she's had better. Parking is terrible. I doubt that I'll be coming back

Got the durty bird deluxe burger and it was phenomenal! Easily one of the best burgers I had all year. Also had the chili Mac as well which was also excellent. I can tell that they put in a ton of effort to have their food come out great. I’m really looking forward to trying lots of other things on the menu when I come back to town.

Ate here while visiting my son in Toledo. Great location downtown close to the ballpark. Great service. We had French dip sandwich, Durdy Bird pulled pork (excellent sauce!), Durdy Bird hamburger (monster big!), and meatball sub (huge meatballs). Had Maumee bay Roller coaster cider (delicious). Overall great experience and food. I’ll be back.

Great place to dine. Friendly and courteous service. Nice atmosphere and delicious food. I ordered Meatloaf Sliders. Meatloaf - old fashioned meatloaf, just like Mom made. Served with a hit of Dirty Sauce, lettuce tomato alongside Chef Salad & Steak Fries washed down with Strawberrie 🍓 Daiquiri 👍

New review 9/17/2023. Wonderful chicken soup, fresh homemade, and hot. Excellent turkey sandwich and, importantly, excellent service from Tayor. Never disappointed and again, a great meal!! Excellent soups! Great service as well! First time there, definitely not the last. Nice to have a pub/restaurant with quality food!

All-American fare, including BBQ, steaks & burgers, served in an unfussy dining room or on a patio.
I've been here at least four times now in the last year or so! The ultimate feast meal is not a bad deal if you come here with 3-4 other people. We had 3 containers of leftover... The brisket and chicken were a little dry, but adding BBQ sauce or beans made them tastier. The corn bread & onion rings were yummy! My fiancé's dad is gonna order catering from this place for our rehearsal dinner in July! So excited to have a BBQ meal with my loved ones!

We visited from Wisconsin. Food was great and customer service was outstanding. I do recommend the beef ribs. They were sooo good. Will come back one day again.

Ordered a brisket platter with some spare ribs. They were both delicious. I asked for brisket flat slices. They were tender with moisture. It was not seasoned very well though, I didn't mind at all since they provided table salt. The only thing is that the bottom layer brisket was entirely chopped brisket... kinda deceiving. The ribs on the other hand were St Louis cuts. Very tender and well seasoned. Fats were perfectly rendered. I enjoyed that very much. There were quite a few customers in the restaurant, so apparently a very popular location. Service was good. Overall, I recommend their BBQ.

Shorty's is a great BBQ restaurant with incredible pulled pork and brisket. Shorty's provides 2 sauces, their normal sauce and a spicier version, Both sauces are a wonderful compliment to the meats that could easily stand on their own flavor. The mac and cheese side was extremely tasty but portion was kind of small for the cost. Their sweet cornbread rolls are delicious and melt in your mouth like a baked cake rather than a grainy bread. The bread pudding with bourbon caramel was also incredibly well done and the portion provided was more than enough to be shared by the table. Overall the food was great, the portions were adequate, but the prices were a bit high for it to be a regularly scheduled affordable destination.

I had a hankering for some barbecue, so I thought I would give Shorty’s a try. I had the Texas brisket grilled cheese with onions straws, Jack cheese and Chipotle aioli. I also had a side of Mac-n-cheese and a side of sausage. Everything was good, including the service.

Wood-&-stained-glass-adorned chophouse serving steaks & seafood in a family-friendly setting.
Very, very excellent local joint. I cannot praise this staff enough for their effort. This was one of the best steak dishes I have ever had. It was a bit overwhelming at first because I have never dined so elegantly. The menu was the perfect size and our waitress Dawn paid attention to every detail. I got the Steak and Shrimp something. It was excellent. The veggie of the day was green beans but that was the only thing that could have been a little bit better. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking and the shrimp breading was to die for. I recommend this place to anyone. Especially for a date night. A bit less in the budget, but it’s easy to understand why. Great job Mancy’s.

AWESOME! Incredible experience! Worth it! The place is a jewel! So beautifully decorated, and elegant!!! The food is divine! The service excellent , and get prepared for the bill , is high as well!!!

The ambience was breathtaking. A classic, rustic steakhouse. One must see for themself. The service was.... okay. Not a 'wow' by any means. I've received better service hands down at Red Robin. Below expectation for fine dining. My steak was impeccable—show stopping! One could find anything they wanted and more within the cocktails and wine menus. Very good drinks. However, working around half-hearted sides and salads was disappointing. A cheap, brown iceberg salad left much to be desired. It was akin to a high school lunch. The asparagus was lukewarm and bland. There was no pizzazz.

So we came down from Michigan because we heard how good this place was. They did not disappoint at all. the atmosphere was great but the steaks oh my WORD. We will definitely be back and they are worth the 2 hour drive. The cook on each steak was perfect. The soups were both very good( French onion and the vegetable medley. The house steak sauce is definitely worth ordering aswell. The bread and crackers they serve up with there house whipped butter was a great starter and we bought some to go home with. We are already looking for a reason to come back.

Where do I start. Well, let me start with our server. Alexis, she was phenomenal. I ordered the New York strip, which was exquisite. I can't tell what was better, the food or her exceptional customer service. She is the prime example of an excellent waitress, and anyone who is hired with Nancy Steakhouse should be taught by her. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. I highly highly recommend Mancys Steakhouse to anyone. 5 🌟
