Cajun eats served in laid-back digs with a roomy bar, large TVs & a patio for weekly jazz brunches.
I recently dined at The Green Gator in Frisco for lunch. The pub ambiance was okay slightly dark inside. The service was decent, especially considering it was a lunch rush. I opted for the catfish, shrimp, and fries combo. While the meal was served hot and well-fried, I couldn't help but feel that the catfish could have been something other than catfish. Seemed more like sway, than catfish. It left me wishing for a different flavor profile. The highlight was the speed of service, which ensured I could enjoy my lunch without feeling rushed. Overall, a satisfactory experience. This restaurant for me was a one-and-done.

Nice location with quick service. Menu has New Orleans food items like gumbo, shrimp and the poboys are a decent size. I enjoyed their Cobb salad also. Prices are reasonable and average for Frisco area. Cocktails were very good and reasonably priced. Our server, Sean, was quick, polite and informative on menu and specials. He even made sure our drinks were refilled throughout stay. Has stage for live entertainment. Was told Friday nights are best nights to enjoy live entertainment but crowded on that day. Nice for business meetings, friends, families, small and large groups or eating solo. Had outside area also when weather is nice. ENJOY. Due to inflation portions are smaller. Just be informed.

I can't believe the service or the food at this place. First off, the waitress started off nice, then all of a sudden she was mean and seemed annoyed. I ordered a side salad and all it was was a plate full of lettuce and ONE tomatoe. We then ordered the boil with crab and shrimp and it was so freaking spicy that we couldn't even eat it (and I eat and love spicy foods). It was suppose to come with corn and potatoes...no corn was in the boil and I asked about the corn and the waitress said that they were out of corn so they gave us extra potatoes...then charged me for extra potatoes and corn!! How does that work?? We asked for extra butter because the boil had NO juice it in. It was bone dry... but super spicy (and they charged us for the extra butter as well)!! We ordered two cups of beans and rice, fried pickles and asparagus, and ALL OF it was cold!!! I spoke with the manager and took off the charge for the potatoes and corn. I have no problem paying for good food and good service, but we didn't get either one at The Green Gator in Frisco. Oh and the music/band was so loud that we were having to yell at each other across the table!! As a restaurant owner myself everything about this experience for me was unacceptable!

We went on Fat Tuesday, so taking that into consideration. The kitchen service was fast and convenient. The menu was very easy to read. The crew members were friendly, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable as they could be for such a night. The business was very clean. The food was accurate, hot and delicious. I would have liked more rice and a little thicker Etouffee. It was a very good experience. I will return.

Waiter was attentive and quick to serve us. The sampler was well seasoned and cooked well for the most part. I am not an oyster fan; it was too chewy for me. The sausage was ok. Tasted a little dry. Next time I will order bread on the side and not in the dish. The shrimp is fresh, nice sized and cooked well. I love Gouda grits and these were delicious! My friends enjoyed the chicken and waffles as well as the sampler. The dipping sauce had a nice flavor as well. I can tell if the Cowboys were playing it would be packed. Covered outdoor seating is an option as well. Nice casual atmosphere.

Upscale steakhouse & grill serving a menu including chops, seafood, wine & cocktails.
We enjoyed a fine dinner here on the senior menu for $39 each. It did not disappoint! The three course meal had nice choices, and we started with salads. The pork chop was fabulous and almost too big to eat. The filet was equally delicious. We substituted a side for the dessert. It was a great way to experience Perry's without breaking the bank.

Food is stellar and their specials are pretty great. The Friday or Sunday Pork Chop specials are the ones to go for in my opinion and the Chicken Oscar is great as well. Not one bad food item and I look forward to dining here again.

Perry’s is worth a try. It has a beautiful atmosphere with dim light to give a luxury feel. The presentation of the food is top notch. The pork chop and the Peachy Glen were both outstanding! The other items I had were pretty good too. I’ll be back in hopes of finding something I love. Also, Caesar my waiter did an excellent job!

I recently dined at Perry's Steakhouse and had a great experience overall. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. However, the pork chops, while not bad, didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, a solid 4-star experience.

Went here for the famous pork chop fridays deal. Not too many things to mention. For the portion size, it was definitely a large/massive piece of meat so definitely get your bang for your buck. Also you had the sides which were also a great complement to the meal. My pork chop was a bit dryer/leaner. I wish that it was not cooked so long, but the flavor of the pork chop was great. Would definitely recommend going here for a lunch. Also tried the dessert trio and each of the options were the perfect amount of dessert sweetness. They were definitely my favorite part.

Local chain serving hickory-grilled burgers, sandwiches & spiked shakes in a contemporary space.
This was our first visit to Kenny’s and wow we were quite impressed! Our waiter was super (friendly and efficient) and he gave us free appetizers to celebrate our first time visit. We ordered the ghost burger and the bacon cheddar cheeseburger with truffle fries and everything was very delicious and the portions quite generous. The onion rings were also very good. Thank you to Morgan for helping us have a great experience.

With 45 million views, I am so happy to share this location.. This is the go-to for the best hamburgers in the metroplex, hands down great tasting and freshly cooked to order. This is a place to also enjoy the ambiance and great music in the background..just excellent..

Hey, this is a great place to duck in for a burger and a brew or soda. The burgers taste like fresh grilled and the onion rings are huge!!! Casual atmosphere and really good service too. Try it if you're nearby.

I will be recommending Kenny's to anyone that will listen! Starting with the service, everything was top notch. I ordered a martini. It came in a frosty martini glass, which the waiter replenished when he saw it was no longer cold. We had the BBQ burger and Juicy Lucy. Sure, the BBQ burger is huge, but I took the buns off and ate the rest the next day. The brisket was to die for. The meat was moist and tender, cheese was melty, and buns were soft. 10 out of 10, recommend! The queso was delicious also.

Update: Service really went down the drain. They got rid of some long time servers, and now it seems there are only inexperienced young guys waiting tables, and they are not attentive at all. I have been dining here for years, but lately, burgers seemed to be "cheap" on toppings like cheese sauce, etc. Also, 3 of the last 5x Ive had an upset stomach here, thinking the quality of cooks also diminished. So disappointing... Original review-Wow!!! Excellent burgers! Every burger I tried was out if this world! Moist, Juicy, Fresh buns/bread, no fillers in the meat, cooked absolutely perfect. Philly Cheese Steak burger, Patty Melt, Chili Cheese burger, and Juicy Lucy burger were incredible. Parmesan Truffle fries were also excellent. Excellent atmosphere for a burger joint.

Bar/eatery with a friendly neighborhood vibe, plus American fare, craft brews, patio & live music.
Only complaint is the wait (2+hours) but if you plan it right it won’t make you Hangry. Music was a vibe! Food was delicious. Server was friendly and quick. I got the Short Rib Hash! Fire! My friends order Chicken and waffles (both cleaned their plates) and how cute the waffle was in the shape of Texas…and I tried the Buffalo Wings dry rub , yummy paired with their homemade Ranch dressing! We were so hungry we didn’t even try the drinks! Next time though! A lot of parties were celebrating birthdays! So it’s the spot! Recommend

The hip hop brunch is nice. The biscuit sandwich is tasty. Unfortunately, our server wasn’t the best but it was very packed so I’ll assume that was the reason we had to ask the hostess for her each time she disappeared. I’d come back and try some other items overall.

I have been to The Common Table before but this was the first time I was there for the Hip Hop Brunch and it did not disappoint! I frequent The Star and would hear the music for the brunch and thought it sounded like an amazing vibe so when a girlfriend and I were looking for places to have our weekly brunch this was the first place I thought of. Fortunately, she and I plan our brunches in advance so I got online and had no problem getting a reservation. I really wanted to be outside, but due to the Texas summer heat I couldn't risk it and decided to opt for a table inside. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was seated right away. Fortunately, we were sat in the far back away from the DJ because, let me tell you, the place is very cozy and the music was pretty loud so you could hear it inside and out. You definitely felt like you were at the club - everyone in the restaurant was laughing, dancing and having an amazing time. Even one of the waiters got in on the fun and started dancing by one of the tables. All of it created such a fun and entertaining experience. There were only two of us so we didn't order one of the towers, but there was one at almost every table that had a group. I've never been to a brunch spot with more drink than food options and there were some really unique drinks and tons of fun variety - I guarantee there's something for everyone. I had the tropical mimosa (light and tasty) and my friend had both a white and red Skittles sangria with the red being stronger than the white but she enjoyed them both! She and I decided to split the chicken biscuit and even though it cost an extra $1.50 it was 100% the right decision. Splitting the meal gave each of us our own egg and it was the perfect portion of food. And I can't forget our server, Jada, who was super sweet and attentive even though this place was SUPER crowded. I cannot wait to have a chance to go back with a group so I can enjoy one of those mimosa towers.

Destiny was a breath of fresh air. Such a kind server full of knowledge for what’s on the menu. We dropped in during happy hour which was a blast. Monday-Friday 3-7pm from drinks to appetizers you’ll find something that suits you. They have all you can eat Wings Mondays and Thursdays.

Nice staff. Not too crowded. Drinks and dinner had good flavors. Had the salmon, fish scampi, pretzels, and dirty martini. Looks like a great place to hag out with friends while catching a game.

Wood-fired pizzas & other Italian plates go with wine & cocktails at this family-run spot.
The food is amazing! Service was extremely nice. Little one had a cheese pizza, which he devoured. The bolognese was good. The best was the gnocchi! Definitely coming back.

This is our go to restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious. The Calamari has the best flavor. We love the Smoked Salmon Flatbread. Great wines.

Crudo is a very nice sexy date night restaurant and bar. Each time I’ve been there the service has been great and the food has been amazing. They remembered my name and favorite drink after my second time going there. It honestly feels like home. They even have those nice handheld machines to take your order and pay at the table making for quicker service than most places. Great vibes, great food, delicious drinks and live music time to time. My new favorite place to visit in Frisco.

I had a great conversation with the owner Ari. He is very personable and very customer focused. He wanted to ensure that we were pleased with our meal and the service. The service was amazing, and the food was served quickly, in decent portions, and was excellent quality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for a night out or a nice family dinner. Lots of choices on the menu to suit everyone's tastes at a price that won't break the bank. A huge thank you Ari for a great meal and a great dining experience!

A must try! This place never disappoints. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, consistently great food, and yummy cocktails. Have had most of the menu. My favorites are the salmon and sea bass special, if they have it! The espresso martini was a perfect pairing with the apple pie. My husband tried the blueberry bread pudding. Both were terrific. Wish I had photos of the apps and main course. Worth a try for a cute date night or girls night. *They have happy hour!

National chain for Carolina-inspired takes on made-from-scratch southern dishes & craft cocktails.
After taking a hiatus from Tupelo Honey for a year, I returned with hopeful expectations. Sadly, the experience was marred by a series of letdowns. A drink incorrectly mixed had to be sent back. The Honey dusted fried chicken, usually a standout, was unbearably salty. The macaroni and cheese suffered the same fate, while the collard greens were just passable. Dessert, a banana pudding, was overwhelmingly sweet, rendering it inedible after two spoonfuls. The plating left a lot to be desired, leaning more towards a diner's presentation rather than the upscale dining experience I remembered. To my dismay, the menu seemed to have undergone a revamp, now featuring cheaper ingredients. Further, it's evident there's been a high turnover rate with staff, another indicator that things have shifted since my last visit. The sole beacon of positivity was our waiter, whose patience and understanding were commendable. It's disheartening to see such changes in a once-beloved spot. The absence of management's intervention with our food issues was the final straw. Here's hoping for improvement in the future. I unfortunately will not return.

I normally don’t have the best experience with upscale southern American dining but I had a great time at Tupelo Honey. I wish I was seated more in the center near the front of the restaurant where it looks nicer- we were seated in the back and had to have the sun on us for the entire time we were there. But it was more quiet so I guess you win here but lose there. Our waitress was very accommodating and kind and I was so thankful! Sometimes I feel pressure from wait staff but she more soft spoken and never made me feel bad for asking about the menu. 10/10 service. My drink was great after I added some sweetener- it was a frozen cocktail. I got chicken and waffles with syrup and honey. I don’t like spice so it was nice that I was able to get the original chicken but on a waffle. Overall if you’re looking for some good hearty food in the star area- look no further and come on in

I went to this place with friends and we really liked it. It took a while to serve the table, but when we were served the waiter was very friendly and courteous. We loved the food and during our visit we received a free snack (Famoso Tomates Verdes Fritos) delicious. Would definitely go back.

My wife and I have eaten here several times and they just keep getting better. The atmosphere is always great and never too loud. We had the Cathead Biscuits with House-Made Blueberry Compote & Whipped Butter as our appetizer and it was great. I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had the For The Love of the Cobb Salad and they both were great. We will definitely be back.

I had the Siracha honey chicken and waffles. My husband had the chicken thighs with gravy, broccolini, and roasted potatoes as sides. I wasn't a fan of the spice and sweet flavor (syrup) together, but the flavor was definitely there. The fried pickles appetizer was crisp with a good amount of flavor. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy with a nice outdoor seating area. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We would visit again and do recommend.

Great food, service, and atmosphere every time I come here! Would highly recommend stopping by and trying for yourself! **UPDATE** The Nordstrom Burger with Cesar salad was delicious, but the white chocolate bread pudding was to die for! 🤤 **UPDATE** The roasted turkey and avocado club sandwich is fantastic as well!

I was shopping in Nordstrom and decided to get something to eat here rather than going out into the mall. The host and the server were both very friendly and professional. The food came out quickly and tasted good. I only gave 4 stars because I ordered a cup of crab bisque and the Cilantro Lime Chicken Tacos (appetizer). I did not find any trace of crab in my sewing at all so that was a little disappointing.

Loved our dining at Bazille, Nordstrom Stonebriar mall. Excellent food and really nice atmosphere. It's a good cozy spot away from the hustle and bustle of the mall & the store Staff is very nice and friendly. Service was bit slow but it was busy at that time. Highly recommended, would definitely visit again.

Amazing always awesome Walter is the greatest person and he navigates very well. He has jumped in to help all of the employees anytime and even running it short handed. He truly needs to be the Manager or General Manager of this store. I love everything about this place and some of the employees I've encountered it's been a pleasure getting to know them.
