We came for the stake dinner, wich actually was pretty good for the price. I just got disappointed with the clam chowder cause I didn't find clams in it :( it was like a veggie soup. The winter beer was delicious, and the watermelon beer was so fresh and tasty as well. Service was good.

This place is terrific. Is it fancy, no, it’s it authentic, good quality and very fair prices, absolutely. The staff are wonderful and atmosphere is excellent. Highly recommend for a relaxed space with friends and family and a nice drink. Must see for anyone in the area or regular place to visit if you live in the are.

Hit it 👍🏿! I have been coming here with my family consistently for years. It has such delicious eats at an unbeatable price. Really good drink deals and set menus. The place is full of regulars and seems to be family run!

I came here with a friend and we weren’t disappointed. You definitely get what you pay for here. My meal came out to $11 with a drink, tax, and tip. The Caesar salad was pretty average, the garlic bread wasn’t very toasted or flavourful, but the chicken strips were quite good. Service was good, restaurant was clean, food was very reasonably priced 👍

Daily specials are a fantastic deal & comes with a healthy servings of sides. Great value in the food you get. The Salmon was surprisingly moist yet crispy on the outside. Drink specials are cheap. Fast service and friendly staff. One of my favorite dives on Hastings.

Romantic, modern eatery serving familiar upscale Italian dishes such as gnocchi & veal marsala.
Go for the food and stay for the desert!!! Everything was absolutely fantastic! Try their "portobello" drink with your desert after dinner sooooo good. I'm definitely going back.

Looking for a local place for a nice dinner I saw a 3 course dinner promotion that looked good. It was an exceptional meal at a great price. Staff was very attentive and it was a fantastic experience. Will definately be back soon.

A last-minute search for a restaurant serving pasta until 10 yielded this absolute gem. One of the best Italian Restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining in. The food is world class and the atmosphere is elegant, relaxing and welcoming. The highlight was definitely the evening's special dessert; Coronation Grape Cake.

This is genuinely the best dining experience I have had. The staff are lovely and the food is just Beyond. I had the melon with prosciutto, ceasar salad, veal with mushrooms, and molten chocolate cake. I had such a great experience, ate exquisite dish after incredible dish, and I'll be returning anytime I am in the neighbourhood.

First time coming to this Italian restaurant and we were blown away by their hospitality. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the kind woman at the front desk. We had a reservation forn2 and she asked us if we wanted to sit "outside" or "inside". There really was no "outside". They're all indoor seatings but the "outside" ones are right to the side after tithe entrance and therefore it's a much brighter surroundings. The "inside" a lot more darker and moodier, which was what we picked cuz it was our date night. We started with the burrata as appetizer and it was perfect! The burrata was soft, rich, and creamy. You can tell they use high quality olive oil and Balsamic. We used some of the warm, crusty bread they served on the side to mop up some of the leftover juice from the burrata. I ordered Linquini ala Vongole for me and it was to die for. Perfectly seasoned, good amount of clams, al dente pasta, and buttery white wine sauce. My fiancé ordered the gnocchi made it was a bit of a let down. They're definitely made in house, but they're too soft for our liking and we thought that the rosè sauce is a little bland and could use a bit more salt. Everything else was impeccable though. Service was at fine-dining level. Our waiter was so polite and attentive, without being overly over the top. He kept checking on us at just the right time, even placed our sparkling water in a cooler, too. The venue is so clean, quiet, comfortable, and romantic. Will definitely come back again to try their other menu and dessert. Highly recommend if you want something more than ordinary Italian restaurant.

Sharp restaurant specializing in Italian cuisine, including pizza & pasta dishes.
Great dine in experience with fresh ingredients and original dishes. Friendly staff who’s knowledgeable and give useful advice and recommendations on the amount of food we should order. We ordered the pizza bites with prosciutto starter but didn’t get a chance to try the pizza, the octopus was tender and delicious. Would love to come back and try other things on their menu next time. Also the restaurant is very chic and clean

We came across this lovely Italian restaurant after trekking at Burnaby Mountain. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, providing us a relax atmosphere to chat and rest. Love the Peach Sangria recommended by the server, the taste was mild and refreshing but not sour. I like my Spaghetti Vongole, the clams were fresh and the spaghetti was tender and chewy, which is the texture I like. Andy friends all love their food, just want to thanks the chef and staffs over there, good job guys.

The food was great, the pasta dishes were very delicious and original. Love the fresh pasta! The panna cotta was amazing! Service was excellent! Wine selection could be better and ambience could use another star if they change the napkins to cloth and cover the tables with white table cloth. Overall great restaurant with great food. We will be back for sure!

I came here with my friend and our two daughters for dinner. We ordered the Margherita and Truffle pizza. Both were delicious and girls really enjoyed them. The Buffala salad was really fresh and nice. We also had the vegetarian pesto and Manila clams pasta. We all really enjoyed the pesto dish. The clams was okay but not our preference. For dessert we had the Panna Cotta and Pistachio Gelato. Let me tell you those desserts were so good. Our server was really kind and attentive and we really enjoyed her service. The washroom was clean and bright. I really enjoyed our time here and will return again, thank you.

The food was ok but the portions were very small and definitely not worth the price. Very sad looking very hard crust pizza is $24, appetizers size octopus $31.9!!!!! calamari $23.5. not a lot of stuffing agnolotti $26.5. risotto $30. pappardelle 26.5. Total comes to $170.52.

Down-to-earth restaurant offering Thai noodles, curries & other staples, plus cocktails.
Really good Thai food. Lots of different options and good flavor. The shrimp cakes were a highlight of our dinner. Nice crunchy outer with softer cake.

First time trying out the restaurant. Came for the fame as it's one of the most recommended Thai restaurants in Vancouver. I have to say I'm quite disappointed at the food. Service was great so nothing to complain about. The stuffed chicken would be the most recommended dish out of all 4 dishes, though I expect some more flavors in the stuffed parts, as it's very plain unless you dip the very no surprising sweet chilli sauce (though I expect a bit more different flavour from the sauce other than a plain sweet chilli sauce like other Thai and viet restaurants) pork belly is way too dry and hard to chew, sauce has a weird taste. Red chicken curry was the most disappointing item, chicken is sooo dry, and the curry way too sweet, we asked for medium spicy but it's very very mild and sweet. Tom yum soup was okay, we asked for hot spicy for the soup, it's more like medium spicy, flavour is okay, better than the curry we ordered. But to end the review with a positive note, servers are friendly and kind, environment is not bad.

A wonderful cozy thai restaurant! This has become my new favorite. The #2 Goong Grob is so good. Fried prawns covered in crispy noodles, I wish I took a photo! The crunch is amazing. Pad si ew is great. One of my favorite dishes. The green curry is very coconutty and a big portion! Service is great, servers explain everything, are very attentive, water is always filled and someone is always around to answer a question. It does get busy on Friday and Saturday nights so I would recommend calling ahead to try and get a reservation.

This was awesome, great heat and sweet in the green curry, had medium heat but would step it up to hot next time. Lunch special is very good deal, spring roll, small salad and your main. Plenty to eat and we all left satisfied. Dining companions had the pad thai which they also enjoyed.

Pretty good food, could be spicier to match real authentic Thai food. Seems to be a twist of Loas food due to the availability of sticky rice and salty fermented crab. Really good customer service. Their green curry is good.

Legendary family-friendly spot known for hefty plates of rustic Italian fare that can draw lines.
Huge volume! Definitely, you can get 2 or even 3 meals out from one plate. Always busy with locals. We happened to be staying nearby. We went there 2 nights in a row. All the plates we had were tasty and served hot. Very friendly service. One note: lasagna takes 30 minutes for baking, but it's worth it. We love to go back again when we visit here.

Everything about this place is awesome. The atmosphere is awesome. The service is awesome. The food is awesome. THE PORTIONS are awesome. I don't know a better value than Anton's Pasta Bar. Between the four of us we are like royalty and didn't leave like peasants. Super reasonably priced for a meal that I almost guarantee you won't finish. Love this place, definitely recommend!

They might not have the best pasta in the world but they certainly serve the most amount for the price! You won’t be leaving hungry, that’s for sure. The drinks and the food is all above par so it’s easy to see why there is always a lineup. We got four pastas and one lasagna for a large group of eight people and we still barely finished all the food. My personal favourite was the lasagna and the pesto. I would definitely order some garlic bread next time to clean up all the delicious sauce. I recommend that you come early with hungry friends!

Their portion is good for two.. we went on Saturday at 4 and we got seated at 05:45 and our food was on the table at 06:45. So plan your self in advance. Food was worth to try at least once.. type of American pasta rather than Italian type so pasta was not Al dente and cooked at least in my liking☺️.. we order for prawn as appetizer which was only 9 small pc for 18 $ really was not worth it.. but we ordered two pasta for four of us which has even left over… love their bread and butter, bread was so soft and nice.. we ordered tiramisu but actually was a coffee cake with alcohol it was nice but not tiramisu 😅..in total was a unique experience, we will go back but definitely not in rush hour and not standing in line.

You won't leave hungry. The pasta dishes are huge and you will need a take-out box. Service is quick. There is usually a line-up outside and waits can be an hour or more (no reservations taken). The menu selection is crazy long. The pasta is more homestyle. It's definitely worth a try to get a feel of why this place has become a Vancouver tradition.

Enduring restaurant offering Greek fare, house-cut steaks & a full bar in a well-appointed space.
Visited with my husband's family and was pleasantly surprised to find this gem. Although I've driven by often, I never realized there was a restaurant here. The newly renovated space is lovely, and the owner and staff are incredibly warm and friendly. They even shared jokes with our baby. We enjoyed the dishes we ordered, especially the lamb chop which was outstanding. Great portion sizes too. We'll definitely return.

We got penne with tomato sauce and lamb chops. I break my comment into positive and negative sections: Positive: Lamb chops was delicious. The rice wasn’t greasy which is a bonus. Lamb chops was well-seasoned. The greek salad that came with it was tasty as well. Service also was good. The gentlemen who was our waiter was fast and respectful. I liked him 👌 Negative: Pasta was super mediocre. It’s much like the pasta I make at home in a busy day with store bought dry pasta and canned tomato. The food is a little bit overpriced. I expected more meat. In my view, this place is great for a date, a family dinner, or a business meeting but not for a casual lunch.

Thoroughly enjoyed the lamb shoulder I ordered. Very tender and nicely seasoned. The atmosphere is great and well aired. Food came in a timely manner. Service level is amazing and server showed up with a 100%. Overall would recommend this place

I was really excited to visit for the first time as I heard a lot of great things for many years. We got sat very quick and inside was nice and bright. We ordered seafood pasta, salmon, chicken, calamari, lamb etc. Everything was ok. I never had bucatini? Noodles with seafood pasta and it was interesting. It had a lot of seafood but the pasta was over cooked and could have used more sauce? We asked salmon to be cooked medium and it was little more and the Lamb was pretty good. I think this is the smallest portion of rice I’ve ever received ordering chicken souvlaki 😅 I think someone said there may have been an ownership change?

I came here to take myself out to a nice dinner. Craving French onion soup and spanikopita, I ordered those first. And that would have been enough for my meal. Flavours were more than on point, I started making noises of enjoyment. Got the chicken parm for my main and everything was fresh and delicious. Just tantalizing on the taste buds. Will definitely come back for more

Old-fashioned, family-owned fixture preparing hearty, homestyle Italian meals to eat in or take out.
Good Italian Restaurant in North Burnaby, food was authentic and fresh. The menu had good variety and catered to our different tastes. We enjoyed it and would return. The lasagna in particular was very tasty and the tomato sauce was full of flavour.

Cozy, warm and relaxing place. Fresh homemade pasta tasted inpecibly. Great service with a sense of being proud of the taste of the food. And the food worths the respect. Highly recommended.

First time visiting L'Artista, it's a nice small Italian restaurant. Nice simple decor. We loved the atmosphere, was very lively on this Saturday night. Staff was all very friendly. Food was great all around. Pasta dishes, great presentation and flavor. None of the dishes were over powered with too much sauce or salt. My youngest son loved the bread they served and unfortunately ate too much of it. Be warned to not eat too much bread before main course! Added bonus was that it was my other sons birthday and they provided a free tiramisu for him to enjoy. Great touch. We'll definitely be back again.

AMAZING Italian food!! We had a wonderful evening, full of food, wine and great conversation! The staff was wonderful and made an extra to cook a meal for my friend that had a number of allergies. They were more than accommodating. The calamari was fantastic! Definitely something I would recommend

Both dishes we ordered were really delicious. The lasagna and the shrimp rose pasta. Tiramisu was also one of the best as it wasn’t very sweet. We went there right before closing, so it was not busy at all. The restaurant itself is quite charming and cozy. Service was good but it could be better. Overall I recommend this place as the pasta was one of the best I had in Vancouver.
