We had an excellent brunch experience at Main & Market. The “hash browns” were some of the best breakfast potatoes we’ve ever had and our poached and over-easy eggs were runny to perfection. We appreciate that the menu has classic breakfast items (which are surprisingly hard to find nowadays?) and a wide variety of options. Our server, Russell, was also spectacular, and he shared great insight into the menu and was eager to accommodate our special requests. Overall, we had a great experience and look forward to our next brunch date at Main & Market.

Whenever I want a really good meal, I ask for Main & Market. It was the first meal I asked for in the hospital after I had my son. I get really excited for Monday’s for the amazing 2 meatloaf entree deal for $30. Who wants to cook dinner on a Monday? Not me. Who wants to have a really amazing warm home cooked feeling meal for dinner? Definitely me. The meatloaf meal feels like a hug. I love everything we order and everyone is so nice there. Not to mention the amazing baked goods right when you walk in the door! Annapolis is lucky to have Main & Market!

This is my go-to place for a salad whether I eat it in the restaurant or pick it up for eating at home. Here are photos of the salad, one in the restaurant and another one that I ate at home. Fresh ingredients are key. It's a bit pricy but worth it. Convenient location, easy parking, and a busy take out section of the restaurant which works well.

Omg! Look around everybody on mute! Because this food deserves a Beyonce moment of silence! I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my dining experience at Main & Market! Everything from the service to the food was delicious. It was my first time here and our server Russell made it a heartwarming experience. He treated us like family members and delivered customer service that was above and beyond. I enjoyed everything I ate and will definitely be back again. And Russell, you make sure they have my PICKles ready for my sandwich lol

I have eaten here several times over the years- in restaurant, via carryout and delivery via Door Dash. The food is always delicious. Their desserts are yummy, though a little on the expensive side. The only one I didn’t personally enjoy was the apple spice cupcakes. Just not my favorite. I would easily give them 5 stars except in the past couple years I have had inconsistent service. They will include food items I request not to get (due to allergies) and forget to give me food items I do request and pay extra for (usually dressings or sauces). Or I am given the wrong condiment (horseradish something instead of lemon aioli). It’s happened so frequently that I have to check my orders now before leaving the restaurant and have started favoring carryout over delivery, which is at times inconvenient for me. The order tickets are clear (I get a copy), so I don’t get the issue. Do better and be better people! Your restaurant is semi upscale as are the prices, so I should expect and receive exceptional service!! Please improve as I want to continue enjoying your food for years to come, but if things don’t improve, I will have to take my business elsewhere. Annapolis certainly has no shortage of restaurants to choose from.

Homey outfit dishing up creative American fare with a regional twist for breakfast & lunch.
Great food. The Hot Mess Scramble was awesome. The coffee was flavorful, nice and hot served in heavy mugs that retained the heat. The staff were attentive, polite and key to me knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. Truly a rare gem hitting 100 % on all fronts.

Wanted to try because they had really good reviews and the menu looked good. I had the gravy train skillet and my wife had the coconut cream French toast. The skillet was not the best I’ve ever had but worth trying. The French toast was really rich. The coconut cream overpowered the French toast. More like a dessert than breakfast. Little overrated would be my take.

We really liked the bwi diner so we explored to find this location. It was nice. I wanted a more authentic aesthetic but it was nice. The food was crazy good. I got stuffed French toast - flavors stood up and smacked you! It as really good. My son got Chocolate chip and bananas pancakes.. he liked them a lot.

The atmosphere is so welcoming. Came with a party of 3. Ordered the chicken and waffles ~ Excellent. The chicken sandwich ~ Excellent. The pancake stack with ala carte bacon ~ pancakes were very dense and a little disappointing. The overall experience was great ~ We will definitely go back!

I feel the earlier you arrive, the better. It started to get busy right after 9 a.m. The food is amazing, and it may seem a little pricey, but the portions make up for it. Will make this a go-to every time. The Cuban is on the smaller side but definitely delicious. The donuts......definitely a must! And the fried deviled eggs seemed a bit risky, but Iso glad we took the jump and ordered.

Hip spot with views of Ego Alley serving a creative, all-day breakfast menu & American comfort food.
Delicious food with some unique twists. Service was friendly and fast. Floors were dirty and slippery - 3 of us almost fell. Nothing exciting about the atmosphere. We would most likely try a different restaurant when visiting Annapolis again.

We came here for the first time after hearing good things about the food. Iron Rooster is a cute spot with plenty of indoor seating downstairs and upstairs. The decor is very farm home like and cute with Maryland and Navy signs around in addition to the roosters. The place is kid friendly. We sat upstairs and had a great view of the Annapolis city dock area. Our waitress was great and fast with anything we needed. The food was great w good portions! They serve all day breakfast along with a regular lunch/dinner menu. Iron Rooster is known for their fresh made pop tarts. So we had to try! We were not disappointed. Definitely recommend ordering a pop tart to go if you are too full after you eat. They have different flavors depending on the season. Also the size of the pop tart is bigger than what you get from the store. 1 can definitely serve 2 people. Drinks were light and good too! Definitely a must try place.

This was my first time here. I came for the weekend with my friends to visit Annapolis. I must say for a busy day they sit us fast. But, we waited for a long time for the food to come and when finally arrived is was kind of cold😩. Unfortunately, my friend got food poisoning from her eggs Benedict, she doesn’t know if she got it from the hollandaise sauce or the actual eggs. The thing is that we spend all Saturday evening and night at our hotel room cause she could not get out of the bathroomthat was not fun at all.. we can just for one night and couldn’t do much, just be aware if you order this ask your waiter to bring it to you as soon is ready don’t let it sit around until is cold and contaminated 🙏I don’t know after this incident I have my doubts about the restaurant. Sorry Iron Ruster

So we went during the labor day weekend and it was pretty crowded but since I was visiting from NYC I am not too sure how packed it usually is. The wait was about 30 min, and they give you options to dine inside or outside. Aside from that the food you get here is mainly breakfast focused. I didn't know it was going to be like that so I was pleasantly surprised. I forgot to take a picture of the full menu but here are some of the dishes we ate.

Updated American cuisine (also for breakfast) in a polished, modern dining room at the Westin hotel.
The staff at breakfast make this a good place. The new menu is good. You just need to keep in mind this is a hotel so prices are what they are. If you have Marriott status you can’t beat the price. Special shout out to Rony Combs.

The worst value for breakfast of any of my Marriott stays. $25 plus tip for meager offerings that were stale or old. I arrived 10am Sunday morning and did not enjoy my dining experience.

Ordering a drink at a bar doesn’t have to be complicated. His action was terrible. Just watch out for your tab. (extras surprisingly drinks).

The salad greens were rotting, got order wrong multiple times. It’s definitely not worth eating here if. Avoid if you can!

Classic American breakfast & lunch fare with coffee service in a modern café featuring pop-art.
Came here for breakfast. Pancakes here are worth ordering; definitely above average compared to your typical breakfast place. The home fried potatoes were below average. I think they use frozen cubed potatoes. Service was pleasant and prompt. Atmosphere is good.

Nice cozy place to come get a good breakfast. Next to some cool shops to walk to afterwards, this place offers homey food with great flavor. Good parking the the rear, with walkable shops.

Food was made well and tasted pretty good. I ordered the Chorizo Omlette. Would recommend for a quick brunch. The outdoor seeting was nice but the flies were not. Will be back in the future for a quick bite or an iced coffee

It was clean, pleasant and friendly. Art on the walls. Good food. I understand newly expanded to accommodate more seating for this popular place. I will go there again.

Quick service. Clean restaurant. Great food. Friendly servers. Husband had the breakfast chorizo burrito and I had the curry chicken salad sandwich. Outdoor seating and indoor too. Street parking limit is 2 hours.

Modern cafe dishes up comfort food for breakfast, brunch & lunch in family-friendly surroundings.
Went here several times now. I must say Eggcellence is always on point! Absolutely a gem of a place, not huge but not small, it's that "just right" kind of place(cozy yet still roomy). Every time we've had a great dining in experience. Always received good service, delicious food, hot beverages. I Definitely recommend Eggcellence for all. Great for taking that special someone on a date, families, friends, going solo or even grabbing a bite to eat with coworkers. There's a decent variety on their menu, so deciding on what to have is the only problem I've had.

This was my first time visiting this, quaint little breakfast and lunch spot. The service was attentive without being overwhelming. The food came out lightning fast and tasty. The dining room is small but can hold a nice size crowd and is well staffed. The staff is quick to clear, clean and sanitize tables quickly. I think one of the most adorable aspects of this cute little restaurant is the owners grandson. Apparently he has been helping out during the summer. He is well dressed, professional, and attentive to things meeting to be completed without having to be asked by the older staff members. I found it quite charming and good to see.

This is a very good local breakfast place. We stopped by here to eat breakfast right before we went to Renfest nearby. It was a bit of a wait for the food though, and the restaurant feels a bit cramped (they should space out the tables a bit more) but the food was top notch.

The eggs were good, the toast was thick and barely toasted, the bacon was okay and the hash was inedible due to their refusal to cook without onions.

Very nice breakfast place in Annapolis Maryland. Extremely nice staff phenomenal food. The crab hash was delicious and French toast was perfect in my opinion. I’m definitely looking forward to going back. I went back for round two 10/09/2021 and it was phenomenal AGAIN. Added a few more pick of my food and my wife’s food. This time I got the salmon Benedict which was excellent and my wife got the crepes and she said they were excellent as well.

Quirky, colorful joint with a full bar offering burgers, chicken & waffles, pancakes & eggs.
Good food at reasonable prices. Took our family of 6 and was just a little over $60. The service was good and food was timely. Fun atmosphere... The kids enjoyed looking at all the different signs on the wall as well. We'll be back soon for certain.

First time experience and we were very impressed. Visited on a Sunday after church. The outside and inside dining areas were being well utilized. A "mom and pop" type of cafe. Very well run, well kept, the staff was great, and the food was delicious. Extremely well priced with generous portions. Won't hesitate to return.

Grumps Cafe has been a place I've visited once a week when I go to do laundry across the street from them. Each and everytime, I get great service. The food is always great, and it's a shock to see them have anything under 5 stars. The food industry seems to have leaned more towards quantity of workers rather than quality, but that's not the case here. They truly have a great staff to go along with their finished product being great. It'll be a sad time when I can no longer come here.

Hands down the best breakfast find EVER! Pick your own mug from owners mugs- signs for every mood and paint all over the floor! Friendliest people with great hometown vibes and very good breakfast! Highly recommend!

Great indoor or outdoor casual eatery. A favorite for families and friends. Staff is friendly and helpful. After getting a table and a menu, remember your table number and go inside to the back of the restaurant to place you order at the counter. If ordered, get your cold drink at the station and then return to your table. Wait staff will bring your food to the table once it is prepared. Great breakfast menu items are available. The omelets are a go to selection! Their large pancakes are a hit with kids and adults! It is a popular place we have returned to often. Behaved dogs are welcome to sit near your outdoor table.
