Italian eatery focusing on Pugliese fare & wood-fired breads served amid vintage decor.
Cozy restaurant serving amazing food and offering a great wine list. We had the Homemade Gnocchi and the Cavatelli Adriatico Frutti di Mare, both delicious, with Surani Primitivo wine, also very good. Dessert was Fresh Passion Fruit Pana Cota, delicious. All that with a 10 star service. Laura went above and beyond to make us feel at home, was very helpful with our choices and very careful with an order to go (Fresh Orecchiette com Ossa e Bracciole - amazing!) so it would only be ready when we were done eating, and it would get home still hot. Great experience! Will be back for sure.

I was really hoping that it would be good restaurant unfortunately it was pretty bad I ordered this skinny flower it came wrapped with a dough cheese inside and not good at all. For the main course I had the ossobuco, big portion but absolutely tasteless it was smothered with some kind of sauce that came out of a can, the risotto that came with it was okay. Very disappointing.

Great food from this region of Italy. Since it's near the ocean, lots of seafood options. I had the homemade gnocchi, delicious. Atmosphere is like an old Italian village. Tha place is small. My mom found it to be loud. I found it to be similar to downtown Chicago restaurants. We loved it and will be back. Hidden gem.

The food and atmosphere was GREAT. They specially made a franchise for me and it was amazing we talked to the owner and and he was nice as can be. One of the best Italian places i’ve ever been to and it was completely reasonable pricing. The people who wrote bad reviews must be crazy because there was absolutely nothing wrong with this place.

We had a very strange experience this evening. Reservations were made well in advance for 4 at 5pm. Restaurant is small indoors but also offers outdoor seating. I was seated indoors for 5 minutes before the rest of our group arrived. Throughout our meal, most of the tables were empty until 7-7:30. Even then, approximately 3-4 tables remained empty. From the time that our party arrived, our server was at our table literally every 5 minutes although I stated that we hadn't looked at the menus and weren't ready to order. (We were all well aware that the restaurant closed at 9.) After being hounded multiple times, we placed our orders. The food arrived very timely and was very good! However, the server continued to rush us through our meal asking if we were ready for coffee before even finishing our meals. After finishing our meals, our server came to our table at least 4 times asking if we're ready for coffee and/or dessert. As stated the food was delicious but the service/treatment was uncalled for.

Modern, upscale spot for Mexican dining & diverse margaritas in a colorful, art-filled hacienda.
We came here on a Sunday night and enjoyed sitting outside. We were seated promptly upon arrival and ordered three items along with some drinks. My son particularly enjoyed his shrimp taco, and we also savored the braised short ribs. While the lamb taco lacked a bit of flavor, it was still enjoyable. I look forward to returning to try the fajitas.

Table side guacamole!! 🥑 Fresh and Best tasting around. Entrees were hot and delicious. Drinks were tasty and just right... Not too strong and not weak at all! Can't wait to go back!!

Came for my mom’s birthday. The staff was great! They were all super nice, especially our server. We were there for about a little over 2 hours and our server was patient the whole time! Gave the food 4 stars just because I didn’t like my drinks unfortunately. I got a paloma, which was too lemon-y/lime-y for my liking. The horchata was good but the rice flavor was also too thick for my liking. But overall a good experience

Hands down my absolute most favorite summer time discovery in the culinary space this season! When I tell you this good grand my soul today, I'm not exaggerating. There is something magical happening back there in the kitchen. You can taste the love in every spoonful... beginning with the roasted salsa served with the generous baskets of warm tortilla chips. It is a rainy morning so I decided to have a cup of the green pork pozole and SHUT YOUR FACE!!! It was DIVINE. So much flavor packed into a tiny cup. My husband ordered the fajitas, the presentation was gorgeous, but the flavor was great! Now into the BIRRA... they brought me a beautiful masterpiece on a plate! I've never tasted BIRRA like this! An entire lamb shank that was so fork tender it was falling off the bone. Served with the most luxurious mashed plantains and sauteed vegetables I've had in a long time. We ended the meal with the abuelita chocolate cake and man oh man did it not disappoint! I truly wish I could give this place 10 stars!

Pizza, pasta & other Italian staples are the draw at this upscale establishment with a relaxed vibe.
One of the BEST restaurants I've ever been to. "Stash", General Manager, was a very gracious host. I wanted some pictures and he not only took me outside to see the large patio but he also took a picture of my brother, his wife and me at our table. I told him that my brother is learning Spanish for his upcoming trip to Spain and Stash stopped by our table and had a Spanish conversation with my brother. How cool is that !!! And the wait staff was exceptional. As for the food and drink...better than 5 stars. This place should have a Michelin star !!!

What a WONDERFUL dinner at Francesca’s. We had a complicated order because of food allergies, but Kenny & Rene were able to have the entree made without any problems. Not only was the presentation beautiful, but the taste was amazing. Thank you so Much!!!

Food was decent. I thought the food portions were small relative to their price.

What a pleasant experience we received today. Staff were all accommodating from valet, hosts when we changed reservations, server, Julio, and the manager, Donny. My siblings and I celebrated my sister’s 50th birthday. We had to change time as we came from cemetery where my sister’s twin was laid to rest in 1991, ‘‘twas both their birthdays. Food was delicious and wait time was good. Exceptional service from everyone. Donny was friendly and courteous to us. Thank you Francesca’s for a wonderful evening.

Unfussy eatery with a patio serving sandwiches, bowls & hearty mains, plus coffee & craft cocktails.
This is my new favorite restaurant. Located in downtown Arlington heights, this place is an absolutely must try for the delicious food, impeccable service, and fabulous ambience. The restaurant is known for its scratch-made dishes and beverages for breakfast, brunch, and lunch is now offering a dinner service Thursday through Saturday. I recently visited and it was AMAZING. It has an outdoor patio too, making it the perfect spot for summer and fall. The chef and their team have done an excellent job of giving us a fresh take on Midwestern seasonality. Everything we tried was a 10/10.

The food is really top notch. If you're looking for an elevated brush experience this is a great place to go. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. The best biscuit I've had outside of Kentucky. A side of the crispy potatoes really went well. The potatoes were crispy on soft combined with the aoili dipping sauce really tasty! I can tell there is a lot of thought and care put into the whole menu. The coffee was flavorful and not bitter and I tried one of the seasonal cookies. The cookie has great texture and consistency throughout. Everything was delicious. I will be going back again!

Met a friend for brunch on her birthday here. It was humid so we sat inside. Cute place, chairs are a little uncomfortable. Limited menu but the food was very good. Service was pleasant but very slow. They did do a sweet pancake plate with a candle for my friend’s birthday. Vegetarian friendly. Not a bad option but much better breakfast places in Arlington including Southern Kitchen 1/2 mile away.

Love this place. Interesting brunch options and delicious. I got the avocado toast which was so good - the grapefruit and chickpeas were a nice twist from traditional avocado toast. The breakfast sandwich my partner loved - big fluffy biscuit and eggs. We did start with a strawberry rhubarb coffee cake that wasn’t my favorite - dry and crumbly - so I’d skip that though. It definitely gets crowded so try to get here early or make a reservation if possible!

I simply enjoy having my brunch at this place. They do have few choices however, they are all so good that you can keep on coming back. Their biscuits are to die for and the Rose Cardamom Latte is my ever fave! Cute kitchen staff too 😉😉😉

Lively, family-friendly chain featuring Italian standards such as pastas & salads.
My mother, cousins (female), and their friends made plans to have a little get-together for my great-aunt's birthday. So, they made a reservation at Olive Garden to surprise her. My mom said it'd be a few of us... When I got there, to my surprise there were more than a few people MOTHER! 🤣🤣 15 of us to be exact. Smh! It's been a while since I've been to Olive Garden, I ordered the strawberry passion fruit limonata. And for my meal, I had the five cheese Ziti al Forno with grilled chicken. I'm not sure what the rest of my family ordered but they seemed to like it. They ordered salad and some other appetizers for the whole table, salad did not look fresh. (Did not eat it) other than that, my family had a great time. As always, they have to take pictures (I hate taking pictures) but my cousin forced me into getting a few. 😒Family... Am I right?! I got there at 6:30 and left at 10 😭 What a long dinner?! 😭🤣 Overall, I had a great experience, my server was very nice and patient... My family can be a bit of a handful. 😒 I'd definitely go back in the future. ✌🏼Great service, great food. I dig it. 🤗

We always have a good experience here. Great food and friendly staff. We ordered the tour of Italy, spaghetti and meat balls and chicken Alfredo.

It's okay to eat alone, as long as your hungry & have time. Like 2day in this case, got a Tour of Italy $20 that comes with salad or soup. Amazing 🤩 service! With great food, has came to delight my life 2day. Im usually not a pasta kind of girl, but now I might have to reconsider since I found this place.

We're got here without reservations and it was around 4pm on a Saturday and it was 6 of us. Without problems or waiting we sat down right away. The hostess was bilingual since she spoke both English and Spanish and also friendly. Our server came right after and gave us his name and suggestions. The dishes have plenty of food and you can share them if you like. We tried several beverages and that were good. The coffee I am not a fan of but maybe I was full already. The one thing I like most was the bread they give you, warm and soft. Our server was overall attentive and he did a good job, I think his name is Ricky.

Festive cantina & agave bar serving traditional Mexican fare coupled with margaritas.
Great place for some Mexican food! Staff are on it. Always helping and friendly. Large indoor seating and several outside options for outside as well. My family typically orders the chicken tacos which are always good. The enchiladas are a must order as well. @food_from_the_usa

We use to love going to Javier's but this time was not good. The beef tacos were flavorless. The meat had no taste, the cheese was shredded American cheese and there was lots of lettuce. Rice was cold and no flavor. Use to be a great place and great food. We will not be going back. Waiter did not say anything when they took away our plates with lots of food on them. Did not care what we had to say. Charged for all of the meals. Sad.

Wish I read the most recent reviews before ordering take-out. This is not the same Javier’s I grew up with. I ordered two meals and we had to throw all of it away. It was inedible in terms of taste and quality. Other reviews suggest new ownership. The service was surprisingly rude. You would think with all the better options available, they would appreciate a customer coming into their establishment. To top it off, the lettuce was already browning, slimy, and spoiled. I would avoid.

I hadn't been to Javier's for several years, I had forgotten what a nice place it is. Great service, wide selection on the menu, good ambiance, and darn tasty margaritas. If you haven't been here before, you will find this to be far more authentic Mexican food than the other trendy places in downtown Arlington Heights. Javier's has been here a lot longer than the other guys. They put the attention and quality into their food rather than the latest trend. Visited again today, consistent excellence continues. The margaritas were so good that we needed an extra round, the tacos were fresh and seasoned to perfection! 2/3/2023 - another visit, another great experience! We've decided margaritas taste better when ordered by the pitcher! The food was awesome too, but on a Friday afternoon it's really all about the drinks!

Family-friendly Italian joint with a vibrant wall mural serving familiar red-sauce classics & vino.
Came to Toscana for the first time this evening and it was amazing! What a hidden gem. Once you're inside you forget you're in a strip mall and you're transported to Italy with a beautiful atmosphere and wonderful attentive service. We've lived a mile away for over five years and have never noticed this place! What a good find! All of the food was absolutely to die for. The wine pours are very generous and the house wines are great quality for the price. We will be back soon to try other dishes!

Terrible place. I tried this again after first coming to a funeral luncheon. Big, big mistake. I got really sick here. Ended up in ER because of the fish. I am tempted to call health department. Not even a real Italian rest and not owned by Italians. Overpriced too and the food is not fresh. The place is now owned by Russians or Moldovans or some other Slavic group. That’s fine, but it’s not Italian. Manager refused to give a refund and hung up the phone. Very unprofessional. It you get sick, don’t bother calling. They won’t refund you or try to make things right. I wasted money on a terrible meal that got me very sick. I was even accused of lying. I would never lie about such a thing. I’ve never even called a restaurant before for a refund about food poisoning.

What a lovely restaurant. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. The service we had was wonderful. The food was delicious. We had an order of the cheese ravioli with marinara sauce and the chicken Marsala. Both were great. The chicken Marsala had perfectly cooked chicken, wonderful sauce with plenty of mushrooms. The serving was definitely enough for two. The ravioli and marinara was gobbled up by a pretty particular twelve year old with not a drop left on the plate. The bread that came with the meal was served warm with a choice of olive oil or butter, but we used it to soak up every bit of both the marinara sauce and the Marsala sauce. What a treat! We highly recommend Toscana.

Very delicious food. I was used to go to Maggianos for dinner & after my first visit to Toscana; I would prefer to go to Toscana for dinner. No more Maggianos. Thank you so much chef & server annie for serving delicious food.
